I know Parkway drive are massive but its cool to see them playing second last at a festival as big as this with top tier international acts. I remember looking at the lineup for a few soundwaves 10 years ago and struggling to find some Australian bands on the bill

what a show, dont normally get into parkway, might be the difference in studio vs live sound, but they put on a hell of a show, glad i was there to see it
I saw them when they came to Huntington NY at The Paramount Theatre with Memphis May Fire and Currents it was the most fun I've had at a show in a long long time these guys were so humble and excited to be there I also met them as well such a cool memory

Exact same here, heard them once or twice and it just never “hit me”. Saw them Friday night and they blew me away with how good they were. What an incredible sound, they gave slipknot a run for their money. I actually think I preferred PWD performance over Slipknots 🤷♂️
I saw them live back when I was in high school (2006ish I think) Just really went because there wasn't many heavy gigs you could go to underage back then, Didn't think much of their set then but thought it was cool. A few years after I heard some of their stuff and found they had really turned into a top tier band with some kickass songs and epic stagecraft. Probably the hardest working band from Australia
I did Sydney and brisbane back to back no sleep, nearly blacked out half way through slipknots second set from dehydration and pure exhaustion, and I would do it all over again! Parkway and slipknot tore the fucking house down at all 3 shows, Winston blew his voice out half way through brisbanes set and still soldiered on like a warrior, absolute animal
How good is parkway drive ? Got to know them weeks before the concert and already a huge fan! Besides what a fkn sick concert you guys put up! Long Live PWD
They played karma and carrion which would be considered older songs but it would be awesome to see songs like boneyards, romance is dead and smoke em if ya got em back in the set list for sure, killing with a smile and horizons are imo their best work
Parkway Drive is that band that even if you have never been into their music, if you're Australian, you still love and respect them and know probably too much about them 😂
They are still amazing, but I really miss Horizons, Deep Blue, Killing and Atlas songs in the setlist... I hope that in Summer Breeze Brasil Deliver Me, Home is for the Heartless, Idols and Anchors, Romance is Dead among others, they can to go back.
