- After school at 1:50 I went to the Rlk Grove Wednesday route and filmed two Ex-Long Beach rapid rails numbered 2981 and 2983. Anyway after I got done filming I was going home and then I see the rear loader numbered 2012. This number is really special to me because 2012 is the year that I was born so I’ve been meaning to film this rear loader for quite a while. So I turned around to follow it.
When I turned around I lost it and found it again on Vista Brook Drive and saw that there was no tractor. Instead the crew was hand throwing. When I got out of the car I see Kenny and Chris. I’m assuming it’s to protect the lights and license plate on top. Just in case the tractor puts in bigger items like couches.

It's a shame to see all that metal go to the landfill😢
I would assume that it all goes to a sorting facility that has magnets and maybe air jets to capture items to be recycled. I agree it is a true waste if it doesn't get sorted further.
