Good advice... I met a bar girl 8 years ago and have been together ever since so there are exceptions to the rule.. But she was in her mid 30s and had gone to Pattaya to meet a foreigner for a permanent partner. I also spoke enough Thai to understand what they were mostly saying in the bar. This was gold for me and I initially did not let on I could understand the majority of their conversations. Because she was older I think it's an advantage she was happy to not to play the game that a lot of girls do. She is a great person moved back to Australia with me went back to school and now is working as an EN in a nursing home. If you are able to find a good Thai woman they make a great partner. As they say once you've had asian you'll never go caucasion😁

I find that once you actually befriend one or 2, the whole scenario changes. They know that you are not gonna fall for the tricks, so if they actually like you, you can become friends with benefits, and you get to see a lot more of their world. My first bar fine experience in Pattaya just before covid started I had that line used on me " You have a good heart " But I never liked the girl and didn't pursue her .She pursued me a little online but I told her I didn't want to talk anymore and that was the end of that . If there is one thing I learned on my first trip to Thailand is if you see a girl you like, think quick and take action on her and don't hesitate because you wont get a second chance . Also don't get emotionally involved and let her go when its time . There are many different women and experiences to be had in Thailand it's a wonderful place .

I agree. I have been many times and have met some good ones. One middle aged lady that is still quite a bit younger than me was subleasing several guest houses as her business venture. Another lady was the shift manager at the McDonalds up next to mini siam. My favorite worked in the Eastiny Place tourist office on Soi 8. So there are plenty of non bar girls to meet up with in Pattaya. One lady used to have her own little internet cafe in the old Tops at the corner of second road and Pattaya Klang. Met a girl my first night in BKK, she wasn’t a bar girl she worked in an electronic golf amusement type thing in BKK. Was texting her whilst I was travelling around Thailand and met up everytime I went to back to BKK. One day she told me ‘today I went to the pharmacy for my mother, as I was walking down the street with my cash in hand I was mugged so now my mother can’t have her medication’ at the time I didn’t think anything of it, I said that’s awful I hope you’re ok. Didn’t send any money but now I think back I’m sure she was trying it on 😂

As a former resident of Pattaya I miss the bar girl stories I used to share with my fellow expats. These of course detail the often times outrageous lies that we were told in order to secure money or explain a period of no contact. "Water buffalo break leg fall in well whole village die unless you send 300,000 baht KAH!". If you can share some more of those stories I would love to hear them.

I got my heart broken twice. I thought I was well prepared before I went by watching many CZcams videos. I also thought I was smart enough to be able to detect bullshit. But I got fooled twice. For 40 years now, I travel to Pattaya, and every year I stay there from three to six months, I speak the Thai language, and I agree with you with all your words.I consider it stupid for a visitor to trust a Thai girl, and I feel sorry for some of the idiots who buy houses and apartments with Thai names and for the knowledge that any Thai girl has a Thai friend who is waiting for her for the money she takes from tourists, etc.

My motto is simple: You can't make a h*e a housewife. I have never been to Pattaya, but I have been to similar environments in both Bangkok and Patong. These girls can be extremely predatory. They will love-bomb you, see your kindness as a weakness, promise you the world, make you fall in love with her, lock you down and discard you the moment you are no longer useful to her. Only go short time, bring her to love hotel, don't share personal contact info and keep the mindset that you are business to her. 95+% of the time farang = walking atm.

I've never been to Thailand and these stories are interesting. I've watches livestreams from the bars a few months ago. Some of the girls look like Professionals and some look so sweet and innocent. I can understand how many guys are fooled by these girls. We always want to believe people won't lie to us or cheat us. When it comes to a beautiful girl, we are so gullible.

Another great story Daz the way you narrate is superb ( sorry for being repetitive) I used to walk from Jomtien Aqua condos (soi that runs adjacent to Jomtien night market) into Sands Cafe and back on a regular basis 4 times a week, just a lovely stroll. i had a few time a girl friend which i picked up at a bar in Pattaya. We spent my hole vacation means about 4 weeks together Never regret it , it was always easy going . Be nice to them and they will be nice to you. Pay them fairly go eating and shopping as you would do it with your wife or girlfriend .
My first trip was my favourite of all my trips. I was so naive, made every mistake in the book, my senses where in overload. The problem comes after so many trips you can become a bit jaded. Hopefully this break from Pattaya will rekindle my love for the place.

I lived in Thailand for over 20 years, here is a bit of an education on the Thai bar Girl: The answer to the question here is NOT AT ALL (speaking from experience, and the fate of others that have tried to tame the Thai bar girl) There is an old saying: "you can take the girl out of the bar, but you can't take the bar out of the girl" This is 100% FACT! Once they end up in a bar, and they do NOT end up in foreign bars first they end up in Thai bars first, as the majority don't speak any English ( I know this as I have been in those bars as well, foreigners are NOT usually allowed in Thai go-go bars, but I had a lot of friends, and was able to go, because of that and because I spoke Thai as well) Once they end up in Nana plaza, soi cowboy, Patpong or Pattaya bars and agogos, things then will be taught to them by the other more seasoned girls or the mamasan. Once they make their first couple of bar fines and make more than they have likely ever seen in one month in 1 night, they are hooked. Not to mention that Thais in general DON'T like foreigners, and only see them as walking ATMs, that is why there are 3 prices in Thailand the low Thai price the high Thai price and the very very high foreign price..which tourists and unseasoned foreigners will pay for services! 95% of all Thai girls have at least 1-2 foreigners on the hook (and they believe that they are the only guy and that the girl is their GF, nothing could be further from the truth.) I know Thai bar girls that have upwards of 20 guys (or more) who think that they are the only ones, and some of these girls make 20K-100K+ a month from all the guys that send them money while back in their own countries, you would think with that kind of cash, they would quit working at a bar, quite the contrary they continue, so they can meet more fish to catch and hook for more money) (don't believe me, go to any internet shop, and the shops have different colored cards based on the number of translated e-mails they will send out) she will even juggle them on their visits so that they never know or see her with another fish she has hooked! NEVER ever fall in love with a bar girl, you will end up just regretting that decision...Many are married to a Thai or have a Thai boyfriend and that will not end well for you if that is the case. My MOTTO: I pass on to anyone going to Thailand for erotic entertainment: CATCH & RELEASE! Never been, but planning a three month stay in Central Pattaya, once things are ready (I feel you have to stay in the Central P area for the first trip), then a couple years stay after that. Will visit Pratumnak and Jomtien during the first visit, but was wanting your opinion if one is better off staying in Pratumnak or Jomtien, if staying for a couple years? Just need good internet, easy access food, public transportation line into the central city.

Yeah I am married with children , live in pattaya and this is pretty accurate to what goes on , I have seen and heard it all over the years , some of the things are standard games others are quite elaborate and planned to relieve guys of money and assets , not all though by nature the thais are happy loving family orientated , and the family culture can also be overwhelming to new guys , you date a girl and suddenly your financing the whole family , beware and be smart , I travel around the world with work and to be honest everywhere you go it’s the same , most women who aren’t from wealthy backgrounds or career focused are looking for a sponsor , they may dress it up better or hide it better , but no different , you can sure as hell lose everything in western countries just as easily and in western countries pay child support or alimony for the next 20 years , along with losing all your assets , my advice to newbies , have fun be polite don’t talk about your assets or finances at all , don’t pretend to be rich , don’t pretend to be anything but humble standard guy having a holiday ,don’t spend big anywhere don’t flash your wallet around , the less obvious that you have money ,should keep off the minions , remember they automatically think your rich because your from somewhere else . If you really want companionship or relationship look anywhere else but at bars girls or girls working in entertainment areas , clearly the further away from these areas you go the less English they will speak . Oh that was good Daz ! My first bar fine experience in Pattaya just before covid started I had that line used on me " You have a good heart " But I never liked the girl and didn't pursue her .She pursued me a little online but I told her I didn't want to talk anymore and that was the end of that . If there is one thing I learned on my first trip to Thailand is if you see a girl you like, think quick and take action on her and don't hesitate because you wont get a second chance . Also don't get emotionally involved and let her go when its time . There are many different women and experiences to be had in Thailand it's a wonderful place .

I Had a Bar in Pattaya from 2001 to 2012 with at least 15 Girls and its very true what you have said in this Video at 10 o/clock each Morning i gave them English Lesions they always hated it and used to yawn after about 10 minuets and used to help them with there email translations from boyfriends ..After i sold the Bar long after in around 2015 i was in Bangkok at a Shopping Mall and saw 2 of the Girls who used to Work for me they asked me if i wanted to go to their Bar for a Drink. I Went and they refused my offers of getting them Drinks, they paid for all 4 and said that's for helping them with their English and being a Good Boss.. So hopefully i did something right

I agree. I have been many times and have met some good ones. One middle aged lady that is still quite a bit younger than me was subleasing several guest houses as her business venture. Another lady was the shift manager at the McDonalds up next to mini siam. My favorite worked in the Eastiny Place tourist office on Soi 8. So there are plenty of non bar girls to meet up with in Pattaya. One lady used to have her own little internet cafe in the old Tops at the corner of second road and Pattaya Klang. I almost bought the business! Wow that would have bombed pretty quickly

Met a girl my first night in BKK, she wasn’t a bar girl she worked in an electronic golf amusement type thing in BKK. Was texting her whilst I was travelling around Thailand and met up everytime I went to back to BKK. One day she told me ‘today I went to the pharmacy for my mother, as I was walking down the street with my cash in hand I was mugged so now my mother can’t have her medication’ at the time I didn’t think anything of it, I said that’s awful I hope you’re ok. Didn’t send any money but now I think back I’m sure she was trying it on 😂

As a former resident of Pattaya I miss the bar girl stories I used to share with my fellow expats. These of course detail the often times outrageous lies that we were told in order to secure money or explain a period of no contact. "Water buffalo break leg fall in well whole village die unless you send 300,000 baht KAH!". If you can share some more of those stories I would love to hear them.
What a depressing video. I agree with everything you said of course but still very depressing. I just got back from 4 months and Phuket and I experienced many of the things that you're saying. I got my heart broken twice. I thought I was well prepared before I went by watching many CZcams videos. I also thought I was smart enough to be able to detect bullshit. But I got fooled twice.

My motto is simple: You can't make a h*e a housewife. I have never been to Pattaya, but I have been to similar environments in both Bangkok and Patong. These girls can be extremely predatory. They will love-bomb you, see your kindness as a weakness, promise you the world, make you fall in love with her, lock you down and discard you the moment you are no longer useful to her. Only go short time, bring her to love hotel, don't share personal contact info and keep the mindset that you are business to her. 95+% of the time farang = walking atm.

I've never been to Thailand and these stories are interesting. I've watches livestreams from the bars a few months ago. Some of the girls look like Professionals and some look so sweet and innocent. I can understand how many guys are fooled by these girls. We always want to believe people won't lie to us or cheat us. When it comes to a beautiful girl, we are so gullible.

Another great story Daz the way you narrate is superb ( sorry for being repetitive) I used to walk from Jomtien Aqua condos (soi that runs adjacent to Jomtien night market) into Sands Cafe and back on a regular basis 4 times a week, just a lovely stroll. Seeing the video bought back wonderful memories. Sorry for sidetracking but I'm 48 get my military pension at 55 and hopefully I'll be out there permanent😊 P.S. Pattaya Park and Dongtan looks odd empty without all the Russians clogging up the beach !!!
i had a few time a girl friend which i picked up at a bar in Pattaya. We spent my hole vacation means about 4 weeks together Never regret it , it was always easy going . Be nice to them and they will be nice to you. Pay them fairly go eating and shopping as you would do it with your wife or girlfriend .

My first trip was my favourite of all my trips. I was so naive, made every mistake in the book, my senses where in overload. The problem comes after so many trips you can become a bit jaded. Hopefully this break from Pattaya will rekindle my love for the place.

I lived in Thailand for over 20 years, here is a bit of an education on the Thai bar Girl: The answer to the question here is NOT AT ALL (speaking from experience, and the fate of others that have tried to tame the Thai bar girl) There is an old saying: "you can take the girl out of the bar, but you can't take the bar out of the girl" This is 100% FACT! Once they end up in a bar, and they do NOT end up in foreign bars first they end up in Thai bars first, as the majority don't speak any English ( I know this as I have been in those bars as well, foreigners are NOT usually allowed in Thai go-go bars, but I had a lot of friends, and was able to go, because of that and because I spoke Thai as well) Once they end up in Nana plaza, soi cowboy, Patpong or Pattaya bars and agogos, things then will be taught to them by the other more seasoned girls or the mamasan. Once they make their first couple of bar fines and make more than they have likely ever seen in one month in 1 night, they are hooked. Not to mention that Thais in general DON'T like foreigners, and only see them as walking ATMs, that is why there are 3 prices in Thailand the low Thai price the high Thai price and the very very high foreign price..which tourists and unseasoned foreigners will pay for services! 95% of all Thai girls have at least 1-2 foreigners on the hook (and they believe that they are the only guy and that the girl is their GF, nothing could be further from the truth.) I know Thai bar girls that have upwards of 20 guys (or more) who think that they are the only ones, and some of these girls make 20K-100K+ a month from all the guys that send them money while back in their own countries, you would think with that kind of cash, they would quit working at a bar, quite the contrary they continue, so they can meet more fish to catch and hook for more money) (don't believe me, go to any internet shop, and the shops have different colored cards based on the number of translated e-mails they will send out) she will even juggle them on their visits so that they never know or see her with another fish she has hooked! NEVER ever fall in love with a bar girl, you will end up just regretting that decision...Many are married to a Thai or have a Thai boyfriend and that will not end well for you if that is the case. My MOTTO: I pass on to anyone going to Thailand for erotic entertainment: CATCH & RELEASE! Traditional Thai's (if you can meet one) are the better choice...look into that, but I assure you you will not have sex the same night you meet them and on point, they will come to meet you with 2 or more friends, they will not come alone (this I know as well, as I have dated a traditional Thai, who was the niece of one of the biggest singers in Thailand) If you chose to ignore this comment, I will wish you luck, knowing that you won't have any if you try and change a bargirl...so take my advice as I said CATCH & RELEASE! In closing remember that in Thailand: LOVE is spelled MONEY!

And yes one can get so in love with a working girl. And when u go home this girl is not like those other working girls but she probably is. And let's be real there lots of fallangs take them home and as long as you pay for her and family she will stay with you. I myself don't prefer this.

So please don't think they are as poor as you might think. But even with lots of money it's never enough if u are prompted to take care of family or there own children. Or there husband who can't stop drinking.

Never been, but planning a three month stay in Central Pattaya, once things are ready (I feel you have to stay in the Central P area for the first trip), then a couple years stay after that. Will visit Pratumnak and Jomtien during the first visit, but was wanting your opinion if one is better off staying in Pratumnak or Jomtien, if staying for a couple years? Just need good internet, easy access food, public transportation line into the central city.

Yeah I am married with children , live in pattaya and this is pretty accurate to what goes on , I have seen and heard it all over the years , some of the things are standard games others are quite elaborate and planned to relieve guys of money and assets , not all though by nature the thais are happy loving family orientated , and the family culture can also be overwhelming to new guys , you date a girl and suddenly your financing the whole family , beware and be smart , I travel around the world with work and to be honest everywhere you go it’s the same , most women who aren’t from wealthy backgrounds or career focused are looking for a sponsor , they may dress it up better or hide it better , but no different , you can sure as hell lose everything in western countries just as easily and in western countries pay child support or alimony for the next 20 years , along with losing all your assets , my advice to newbies , have fun be polite don’t talk about your assets or finances at all , don’t pretend to be rich , don’t pretend to be anything but humble standard guy having a holiday ,don’t spend big anywhere don’t flash your wallet around , the less obvious that you have money ,should keep off the minions , remember they automatically think your rich because your from somewhere else . If you really want companionship or relationship look anywhere else but at bars girls or girls working in entertainment areas , clearly the further away from these areas you go the less English they will speak . And that’s a dead giveaway if she can speak English well she’s usually been there for ages working around foreigners .

First an unmitigated fuckin disaster 555, broke up after 3-4 years. Thankfully kept my daughter who is now in University. I've been coming to Pattaya since 1993 and agree with you you can't trust them but then your paying for sex so why would you want to trust them.
That is very easy to answer, you CANT trust them, for them as with most Thais it’s all about MONEY it’s about FACE its about making them look better than others that = money, they maybe good to look at but most not all have little personality and YOU will always be down the list when it comes to priority, my advice take them for what they are, don’t throw your money at them you will never be rewarded you will be laughed at behind closed doors
