Not really Smack because Little Nightmares lll is gonna be about the new characters Low & Alone and the new giant scary doll and & more new monsters but if they are actually gonna show up in Little Nightmares lll then it could actually be possible but still.
Only six might make an appearance at the end to help low and alone fight the last monster since it’s a sequel so might already have her powers
I think Six will show up in some form, but I’m not sure about Mono.
Edit: I don’t think Six will be a major character unless she turns out to be a villain, other than that, I think that her role will be more similar to her role in VLN or smaller.
I understand if people get tired of seeing six but she’s the main character, she’s was in every single game. It would feel incomplete and unlike a LN game without her. If you think about it, her story isn’t complete, she escapes the mall and sees the sun…then what? How does she escape? Where does she go next. My theory is that she’ll be mentioned, she might not have been in the trailer but neither was she in the LN2 trailer, maybe she’s a surprise! Some fans would be upset without her because of the incomplete feeling, I know for a fact her story isn’t over.
That’s actually the main reason I wanted the game out, to see the end of her story.
Sorry for ranting but it’s just my opinion, I understand if you disagree, since it’s an opinion.
same here, i don't feel the "little nightmares" vibes on this LN3 game, and yes i also want to know what happened to six rather than just "ok she escaped the maw let's move on" bcs there are still alot of questions that are not answered 😭
plus i kinda don't like the new character designs, i like the simplicity more, even tho the past games have very simple character designs it still made them iconic.
and i really, really, reaaallyyyyy wanted the story to continue rather than moving on, bcs i dont like it when they just leave us with unanswered questions 😭

I agree, sixes story isn't over when you remember that six lost her soul or self when she was taken by Thin man in LN2 and still hasn't recovered it at the end of LN1 bcs you can see shadow six watching her everytime she ate in LN1.
So technically it wasn't six entirely that left the maw, it was just a husk without sixes humanity.

In my opinion it would be sick if there are some kind of twist where the main villain in this story is actually Six herself. She got The Lady's power, She got hunger,Shadow Six also seems like the manifestation of her dark side. There was so much pontential to this

It was revealed that that shadow Six is her glitch remain at the end of Little nightmares 2 (after collecting all glitch remains). This glitch remain is the Six that grew with Mono and bonded with him, separated from the Six found in the Tower.

If you’ve played every Little nightmares game then you should know by now that there are no happy endings, expect the same for Ln3
I feel like Six is a guarantee given that so far she’s the only character that ties all the games together and it’d be weird if she didn’t have some kind of appearance.
I personally feel like they might have future plans for Six and maybe Mono. I say maybe on Mono because there’s not really much you can do with him now. Six still has many possibilities for her story, and I think they can still do many things with the story just probably not tie Mono back into it.
Honestly that’s what worries me, if the six isn’t in it, then I feel like that’s because they change the developers. I’m worried that the vision will be changed because of it, and we will go in a spin-off direction instead of continuing and expanding the lore of six
Honestly, I was kind of getting tired of Six, I just wanted to see more of the world of this game, so I'm happy we are finally moving on to a new place!

Honestly I don't really want her to be the antagonist of the game, she was already a boss in LN2 and having to beat her a second time seems a bit... repetitive.

Even if Six is the vilian in this game as people are theorising i doubt that we would have to kill her especially considering shes the mascot of little nightmares as a whole i feel like even if we dont see her in this game we will most definitely see her in a future game
I'm not sure if they intend to make a trilogy or another game if this one proves to be successful (although, since I really love this franchise, I would like that). For Mono, the way his story ends seems to imply that he's stuck forever, reaching a point of no return. That's what makes the ending poignant, cruel, and emotional, similar to the conclusion of the DLC, and if in LN3 they were to save him, it would somewhat undermine the meaning of this ending.
For Six, I would be a bit sad if they reduced her to just being the villain of the story that must be eliminated at all costs because she will only sow chaos, especially considering that in the games, she's quite a complex character, neither purely good nor purely evil. If they choose to go down that path, I hope they won't mishandle her character.

Huh, honestly, I'm not quite sure how to incorporate these podcasts into the Little Nightmares universe, but I do know that Supermassive Games tends to create game endings with significant plot twists where everything shown wasn't real. I really hope they don't go in that direction for this game because it would challenge the nature of this universe itself, and I personally appreciate that the universe maintains an element of mystery, rather than being reduced to "its just a dream", which would also feel cliché.

Honestly, I’d love to see The Thin Man team up with Low and Alone to stop Six, if she’s the main antagonist
Even if she's not the antagonist I'd still want that considering what she did to mono and the other characters
my wish fulfillment would be that Low and Alone use the mirrors/Spiral to find Mono and save him. that or we finally get a continuation of Six's story.
Idk where mono is and i firmly believe hes just gonna be in the pale city chilling and the pale cities basically just doomed to be what it is but my personal theory for LN3 is that Low and Alone are making their way through the cluster to make it to Six who's the source of all the nightmares in Nowhere and basically Six is the main antagonist of LN3. My evidence for this is the fact that the mirror and main antagonist is being hidden a lot by the devs, the black smoke in the mirror and the lady can vaguely be seen in the mirror also.
Edit: I just looked on the last video that Low and Alone are acc trying to escape no where but i still firmly believe you cant have a main LN game without six so i still strongly think six is the main antagonist of LN3.
Edit 2: Since the spiral is a cluster of nightmares I think the main nightmare comes from where the pale city and maw are the BIG nightmares per say where the source of it all comes from so they might end up back down there if they're trying to escape.
Edit 3: The mirror could also be the main portal out hence why its a emphasis and Low can teleport through portals. Or it leads right to Six.

Poor mono is death in the water, made to repeat the same steps over and over again. And six may or may not destroy every giant or her dark side is more amplified because of the dark lady. Who knows but a thing for sure, the mad max style is very cool
While I do agree with you here somewhat, I doubt Six won't be in the game at all since she's literally the mascot of the entire franchise.

She is the mascot of the series but that may not always mean that she has to be in every game just cause she's the mascot. But I do hope they include her in a dlc or something

I'm sure Mono is either still in the time loop or he figured out how to leave the loop, and maybe the thin man(mono) will appear in 3. There's no confirmation that six became the lady, so I'm just assuming she's getting revenge on the alive enemies she faced or is starting a new journey. We may come across both of them in 3, but there wouldn't be any reason those 2 would be in the spiral. I don't know, though.
Edit: This is probably was before Very Little Nightmares or a bit after Little Nightmares 1's events.
In my opinion it’s a good choice to move on and bring in new protagonists. If you think about it, Mono and Six’s story are concluded. Mono and Six are stuck in the time loop, with Mono continuously becoming the thin man and Six going through The Maw just to end up with Mono again and then eventually, betraying him. I imagine their will be a few Easter eggs that will establish the timeline or just simply let us know that this is the same universe as Six’s and Monos, but other than that I can see and honestly hope that Six and Mono won’t return, at least in the way that we think. They have had their spotlight and now with the series having new developers, it’s time for new protagonists, a new story and new locations to further expand the already grounded universe.
I hoped game 3 would be something like breaking the cycle but that sounds kinda abstract

I really hope that supermassive doesn't just pull content and ideas from the previous games. I really hope they earn their stay and build new ideas onto the world that fit into the lore and story. And i know that theres a divide on whether six should be in LN3 but six's story isnt finished and having a completely unrelated story would be a Disservice to her and monos characters in my eyes. We'll just have to wait and see if they pull through.
Mono I believe we might, though it won't be in his human form. Most likely will see him as the Thin Man, due to Mono stuck in his own loop. Also, if this is a Sequel to 1 and 2, we could see Six. We know she's not part of Monos loop and we saw her consume the ladies' powers, so it is possible we may see her but in a more corrupt form. Even if they don't both show up in the game, I know they are probably going to give us little easter eggs referencing them.

I mean the community is probably curious where Mono is in LN 3 since we don't even know half of his story (for example, what was he doing before the very first chapter of the game? Or even before the LN 2 comics)

I think they'll be shown probably on a drawing, at least Mono probably will. Since He's The Thin Man, we'll probably see a vague drawing of Him, like we have in LN1 and in LN2, before his reveal. I believe Six will appear in some form, just a hunch considering She's been in every game at this point.
Hm, I was wondering about this myself and honestly you made some pretty fair points, true they most likely only be referenced at least and would be fine with that to be honest.
Now, about your statement about the Beginning and End of their Stories, while I can agree with Mono, I never necessarily got the impression that Six’s Story ended at the of the First Game’s Main Story,
I mean sure she sort of got a Power-Up and got out of the Maw, but while Mono ended up getting trapped in a Time-Loop, Six is still free,
of course, if one were to take the First Game’s Final Image at face value, one could argue that Six ended up still trapped as well, but as many people have pointed out, when the Final Image fades away a Ship Horn can be heard, potentially suggesting that Six might just taken a ride on the Next Ship visiting the Maw, based on that in all sense and purposes, Six could still be out there, doing God knows what,
On top of that, there’s also Very Little Nightmares, where it’s been heavily suggested, but not disproved (from what I know), that Six has also made an appearance and had sort of a role in,
Six to me feels like such a central Character for this Entire Franchise at this point, that i feel there could still be more Stories for her, that I would’ve liked to see explored further and who knows, if Tarsier was still in charge of the Series, maybe that could’ve more likely been the case, but that’s mostly speculation.
Speaking of which, i wonder what the state of the supposed upcoming Little Nightmares TV Show is at this point, I hope we get to know at some point.
Anyway, regardless, this still leaves one Question, when would this Game take place? What do you think, at this point at least?
I agree, technically Six's story could have ended with the first game, and that would have been sufficient, but they wanted to expand her story through comics and two games, so I don't think it necessarily means they will just abandon her now. Even though, yes, now that Tarsier isn't involved anymore, I'm not sure if they will give her a significant role, whether it's just a cameo or a real importance in the story. Maybe they want to focus on the characters solely created by Supermassive Games, we'll see.
Regarding the Little Nightmares TV project, it has been in development for several years now, and Henry Selick mentioned in an interview that the project was dropped. I was also quite excited about the project of a Little Nightmares series, perhaps in stop motion, but I'm not sure if it would have been well-adapted anyway. It's worth mentioning that Selick even compared Little Nightmares to Squid Game 😅. Nonetheless, I hope we won't have yet another Little Nightmares prequel. Personally, I'd be interested in having a sequel, as so far we've only had prequels. Not that it's a bad thing, but I'd like to know what happens next !

And yes the same, I was almost certain that we would have a sequel for the franchise so now that it's confirmed I hope this game will not disappoint me, even if obviously it will be a little different from the previous two.

Mono will definitely not appear, I believe six will appear as a villain in either this game or another. LN2 was a prequel to the first so if it take place in present day she could be extremely dangerous and could kill our new protagonist.
Little nightmares 2 takes place before LN1, and LN3 is a sequel to the first game. So like, 2 and 3 are separated by the first game. Also VERY little nightmares is the first instalment of the timeline. That’s not including the comics 😂

actually they said, there will be some easter eggs in LN3 about mono and six. I don't think Mono and Six will be in game, but in trailer we saw like Maw where Alone and Low look at the map, its looks like Maw, if we in Maw to we can see Six, in LN2 we saw the secret ending where Six is back again to the Maw (collecting all hats) maybe we can see Six. Or when we finish the game, maybe Six and Mono's story keep going on comics or we can see a DLC about after Six betrayed us. But i would like to see them.
The first thing that we must know, is where in the loop is this? Is this after the first game where six is last scene on the island?
Is it before six goes to the maw after backstabbing mono? Is it before both mono and six went to the city? There is SO MANY ideas on where they are in the loop
I do actually think that six could be the villain in the next game because of the use of the mirrors and black fog. We know that mirrors and black smoke were always followed by the lady but since the lady is dead and six took her powers I think it will be six but grown up and possibly this could be what breaks the cycle if we kill six before she is the lady? I wonder if the Pale Lady and the Thin Man will meet in this. Like you have to lure/escape them, but they end up finding each other, and something will happen between them.

I think we will at least get a Reference about Six and Mono But i think most likely we dont See them in the Game But my Best what i could think is that we get some more lore on the actual World building and how everything is founctions and connect the Two Games, again we already have connection in the Trailer to the First and Second Game for Example: the Eyes drawn on Walls and made on Objects that clearly Show that this Part of the World is at least in the Same Way corrupted by the Signal like the Monsters we See in Little Nightmares 1, Maybe Not as Corrupted like in the Pale City since i dont See any TV at All in this Trailer but i think that they are still very Corrupted. We also See the Mechanical Eye making a Return in the Third Game that was also seen in the First Game and in Very Little Nightmares, so we can defently Speculate that this place is maybe under the Same Rules and as the Maw and the Nest But even if we now leave the Pale City behind, i dont think that the Eye/The Signal Tower will Not be Mentioned at all so Maybe Mono, Six and the Eye will Not have a Physical Apperance but rather a Story Part that will help us understanding this World better. But thats just my thinking and good Video 😊👍

I have a theory , For the mirrors , What if they actually are in a different timeline , So possibly all nomes died in necropolis , And alone has the ability to time travel through portals ?

A theory I saw was that the black smoke seen throughout the trailer can be six, she could be the villain. This sound idk BUT we have seen that she is nit trust worthy and is very powerful (now) . The reason the black smoke links is bc she consumes it from the lady at the end of ln 1 she could have grown and landed in the same fate of the lady, as in she has become contorted and corrupted by the power of the nightmare/ signal tower. ALSO I think the lady is DEFO in this, I just feel that the reflection in the mirror is the lady and in the 6th anniversary post (28th August 2023 on twitter) the lady is in the background allot IDK but it seems clear to me. I love this game ans seeing it grow makes me so happy ❤️❤️❤️
i really hope the new studio can do as good as the last 2 games. beyond exicted, sad i wont get to see mono and six in the next game but i hope the studio does all they can to make the game as enjoyable as the first 2
If six and mono are in LN3 I would hope its only to close out six's and mono's story completely. Also i hope that if mono does appear in LN 3, i hope he's there to get revenge on six for leaving him to die.

If you make a horror game, the lore of the game is the main reason why the game itself is very popular and I'm pretty sure that supermassive games understand this thing, knowing that they alr made popular horror games. Anyway, if I try to put myself in their shoes, having almost no guide to continue is lore, the comics will be my main source material. I mean, what would be the use of creating a comic about the game is there is no use? Which is why I'm more than half percent sure they are gonna use it this time.
Anyway, in the comics, one of the antagonist is the hanging man, and where does he stay? Inside the mirror. And in this trailer, the mirror is the main focus. Anyway, in the same comic, they also opened about the two children who survived from the famine of their village and the setting was in the dessert. I conclude that low and alone (the characters in ln3) might BE the two of the children in the comics or rather experienced the same thing as the sibling.
Another fun thing is that knowing the children actually have their own version of antagonist. This is why i'm 100% sure that six is actually the lady. As it's one panel has a highlight, "Who knows what will look back? (In the mirror)" then it showed six and the lady in one panel.
In short:
-LN3 might have the hanging man as it's main antagonist.
-The ferryman may also pop-up by the end of the story of may halfway of the game.
-ONE of the little children in LN3 is the HANGING MAN. Knowing that one of them can enter inside the mirror. Just like how mono can enter inside the TV and he became the thin man.
-The children in LN3 may be the siblings who suffered the famine in the village.
Maybe the reason why they aren’t in it, it’s maybe because the devs didn’t plan them being in the game
my theory is i would think that mirror thing is like a time travel i would say six and mono is the main characters mono can be saved from a time loop where six story ends tho? and with these two new characters might just team up cross paths with them to save the world from this damnation
Mono is trapped but six might appear maybe as a monster if this takes place after the first game
I’ve think about that LN3 it will be a Puzzle-Combat Adventure not a horror puzzle anymore

i still confirmed is a type of horror-puzzle game (But for me it doesn’t feel horror anymore but it doesn’t mean i don’t like Little Nightmares)

I heard theory that for some reason or somehow six is trapped in the mirror and low and alone have to save her
I hope there is Litte Nightmare 4 the last chapter where alone and low is still the character and was about to encounter six to convince her to help them find the others, and a plot twist were the character from Litte Nightmare 2 and Very little Nightmare is still alive and everyone will survive and escaped.

I think well see six! In the timeline little nightmares one takes place *after* the second, and we see the maw in the trailer in which six just left in the timeline before the third, so she must be close! Just my personal theory.
