  • Who are the primary sources for our historical narrative? In this video, we take a closer look at Hubert Howe Bancroft. Widely considered to be the authority when it comes to the history of Western North America, I think you'll find more than a little strangeness here.

My hometown of New Castle Indiana had an interurban tram that went from downtown straight to the "village of epilepsy" aka New Castle state hospital! Same story everywhere there was an interurban! The high school, which was tore down i believe in the 60's was literally a castle! Hence our name of New Castle! Went from a beautiful, practically indestructible work of art to a section 8 housing unit. 6 or 7 stories high with mostly windows and our advanced building skills of a square box, it's something that will leave you scratching your head over that's for sure! Thank you for ALL YOU DO MY FRIEND AND GOD BLESS 🙏✌️❤️

Chris - again another great dive. The writing holds the key. Here in the land of historic markers (many of which placed in the 70s) where the narrative seems 100% implausible. I ponder how many writers were hired by the controllers to spin this ridiculous narrative. What is most encouraging is to see here in the comments how many people witness their own anomalies in their home towns. They destroyed a lot. But not enough. We with eyes can still see...

Hey Chris, hope you and your loved ones are well sir. Once again i love your presentation, although i must admit i am quite nostalgic of your longer format video from the past the ones which exceed 1 - 1.5 hours, for me the longer format only gives you the opportunity to expand further. You are by far my favorite narrator in this genre, not detracting anything from anyone else in this field. It’s a matter of personal taste, i find your calm, precise and calming tone only accentuates upon the soothing music you choose for each of your explorations. Your pupils in the classes you teach for carpentry are very lucky to have you sir.

You are very welcome my good sir, your presentations are a true gems that i eagerly look forward to. This year has been quite challenging for me on many fronts and your work has been a mental vacation getaway lifeline of sorts - a safe port to weather out the ongoing storms.
I’m glad to hear that you’ll have more time to devote to your precious ‘vocation’, looking forward to your guests and live’s.
I rather like all your guest and guest appearances. I recently rewatched your presentation with Matt from
Marvelous Old World - the chemistry that you both exude is fantastic - his calmness, kindness, enthusiasm and especially his humility ideally match yours. He’s in my prayers for his recent tribulations with his health, dealt with friends and loved ones battling with cancer since i was a boy and it has ravaged most all of my family.
The work you all devote yourselves to is of great value as far as i am concerned and it is an important part of a bigger picture.
What parts of history which have been left “for us to find” from as far back as antiquity are actually genuine. And from the works which are known taught and celebrated, who is the true author (not the one who is credited) and why have those particular works been “spared”, what purpose do they / have they served.
The works would include music and ‘tempered’ scale as away to control the masses • Stephanie McPeak Peterson (a friend of Michelle Gibson’s) has dived quite deep into that aspect as well as the subject of literature and references Ancient Greek philosophers. One of which is Plato, who always rubbed me the wrong way - most everyone praises the man and overlooks that he was an elitist prick who destained freedom for the public good, was the original fascist (credit to Stephanie McPeak Peterson for pointing out and stating that little tidbit) which Plato himself plainly states in the body of his works. I actually went back and reread the original sources to double check, thank god i am fluent in Greek. He has always been a red flag for me since as far back as i could remember.
In any case, i could see the spurious nature in the backbone of history branch out into every aspect of humanity if researched thoroughly enough. Thankfully I see more and more people taking up the torch and lighting the way for the rest of us to see more clearly.
Wish you and your family well sir, have a wonderful and most productive week . . .

I'm so glad u mentioned Howdie! He is a thorough, thoughtful, and brilliant researcher, writer n historian. He was at the forefront of bringing 2 our attention, the wonder and weirdness of these fairs and he's done a stellar job of uncovering the possible motivations behind the presentations as well. No one does it better. I've heard a few (only a couple) people speak on these events who had not researched the subject at all (made some untrue statements) n that's counterproductive. When someone new comes along and is presented with easily disproveable details, it turns them away from the whole subject. The more people that look into these things, the better off we all are. We learn from each other! The TRUTH is SO much more fascinating and bizarre than anything that could possibly be made up. Anyone who loves historical mysteries and doesn't look at these events is missing out 4 sure. Thank you so much for your work, I absolutely love your videos!

Never trust historical figures with the word "bank / banc" in their name, lol. One of the fountains from the Chicago fair is here in Vancouver at Stanley Park (another very suspect area). And the raising of the buildings at 6:56 & 12:03 is actually an insult to our intelligence. All of these narratives are. My goodness. Excellent presentation and research... as always.

    • @MeltMaven

@@mistuhgee One of the 1st things they did was designate it as a park, before taking care of the important things of starting a new settlement. That's the biggest clue. There are also numerous old world remnants all throughout the park that they certainly didn't build and much of it is half melted / heat damaged. Plus the narrative around most of it is ridiculous. So much hides in plain sight there. I really encourage you to research it. You'll be amazed!

Fantastic research and video presentation! When youre fighting against a megalithic written historical account(s), expecially qhen they dont pass the sniff test, the best way to fight back is pointing out contradictions and referencing physical objects & locations. The real effective, but time comsuming part is going through city by city, town by town. You (we) must count the buildings, monuments, piers, stock yards, analyze the population, tradesmen, location to mines and quarries, those places employees. Then how many farmers, const. workers, bankers, nurses, teachers and on and on in order to really see the scale of the deception and start blowing holes in the narrative. God bless you brother, we're all along for this ride and the incomprehensible amount of work ahead of us.

I'm certain that our cities are much older than we're told, but that means that our history has been extensively and systematically rewritten, and our true past has been covered up with equal thoroughness. It all seems impossible, but Bancroft appears to be a piece of the puzzle of how that was accomplished. It also seems likely that his books may have been a team effort.

The corrals of pooled mud, the using of produce & produce boxes for make shift sidewalks, and carcasses in the street be it man or beast? Tells me, no Yells at me that these people did not build these buildings, plan these cities or had any sense of communal living up to this point, but they were coming from Europe an already established old world kingdom...sooooo

Demoralizing? Yes. Uprooting peoples crom their countries and legacy? Also unfortunately yes. I can see a dangerous side of this theory, but also a hugely beneficial side. Sometimes the most exciting and rewarding things in life are the most dangerous, its all about how its used, right? I believe it is important for us and follow-on generations to learn about the lies, and to use that knowledge to guard against it in the present and future. All the important players on the 'world stage' trace back to this time period. You can pluck a weed but it come right back if you dont find the roots and deal with them also. Keep on keepin on brother/sister, whomever you are. Dont throw your life away over this theory, just find a niche and enjoy it. God bless.

It isn't wasted. I looked at your channel, lots of good videos. Wondering, thinking and learning are never a waste. Even if it is no more than a distraction, what better a distraction than to exercise the mind! So much better than sitting on a couch watching sportsball. Don't be discouraged. It is exciting to see people wake up to the deception. The heirachy lose their grip on us when we see them for the grifters that they are.

😅 I'll never look at Montgomery street the same ever again. I'll forever picture horses and people stuck in the mud.
    Women with petticoats maybe,but people?
As Biden says "come on man". 🙄 You mean to tell me they could build glorious buildings all over the world and SF yet they cant figure out how to manage the streets?
There really isn't heavy rainfall in SF. The storage issue and waste of products is even more fishy.
SF is a port and a major hub for the arrival of Gold Rush folks and immigrants.
I'm not buying they didn't have money nor wear withal to manage the streets.
I read a great book about a madam in SF who described the boats as living structures, and some being in poor repair. Never was muddy bog streets mentioned .
I think Bancroft was an pen name and it was actually the elites who wrote these books or dictated them to set the narrative.
Interesting there was a voluminous Book of Wealth only available to the families, almost as if they tracked each other's history in detail.
Also notable he "wrote" about Natives, again a narrative.
His books were used by Berkely and used to set a narrative for education.
    Excellent find
