      A terrorist is generally defined as an individual or a member of a group who uses violence, intimidation, or coercion to instill fear and achieve political, religious, or ideological goals. While political motivations are common, terrorism can also be driven by religious, social, or ideological objectives. The key characteristic is the use of violence or threats of violence to create fear and often to influence a broader audience or government policy.
      The motivations behind terrorism can vary, and it's not strictly limited to political reasons. Some acts of terrorism may be fueled by religious extremism, ethnic tensions, or other ideological factors. The definition and classification of terrorism can vary across legal and political contexts.

    The problem with this is that Cartels actively fund and support the rural communities that they operate in. Clean drinking water, medical services, libraries, youth programs etc are funded by American drug dollars. The only way to truly combat cartels is to legalize drugs and give cartels a chance to legitimize themselves as “pharmaceutical” logistics companies and tax them so they aren’t seen as a viable option to poverty and actually fund their people.

The moment alcohol became legalized the mob was forced to find different avenues of revenue thru unions, extortions, and gambling. If Cartels don’t become the Sinaloa Corporation, they will just fall into the shadows or find a less violent alternative to their money. Drugs allow them to corner societies, abuse women thru human trafficking, arm themselves with military equipment. Obviously the war on drugs isn’t working.

Saying “they only smoke because it’s legal” is even more of a reason to legalize drugs because it means people are smoking safer than risking their lives buying from local drug dealers who tamper their product. I rather a person be able to experiment with Heroin by buying from a pharmacy and saying “this isn’t for me” over buying from a drug dealer who laced it with fentanyl then losing their lives.

    Back in the 80s,90s and very early 2000's Poland was a wild west. It felt like every other male was somehow involved in some sort of criminal activity, along with the government and the Special Forces army, which was run by older generations and used the criminals as puppets to be on the front pages for attention, while they done their scams. However things started changing with a new a newly elected president in 95. New social standards started being applied,few groups of true to their core police groups(you couldn't bribe those men)formed around the country, which step by step started to show results. In 1999, Police forces have hit the jackpot and managed to land a start witness into a newly created witness protection program. The witness was a very strong figure, in a group which controlled most criminal groups in the country. On the stand he single handedly told on 200-300 people(Criminals,politicians,judges), which opened a Pandora gate to story telling. By 2003 everyone was telling on everybody. Big criminal groups were DESTROYED along with few politicians, Special Forces were untouched even though they stole in some estimations through out years billions. Two years after Poland joined the EU, 2006 gig was done, social standards were turned around, so called gangsters were in prison, on RICO status, very similar to Italian mobsters in the US.

    When I was working in Mexico I hired a young kid to work for me who had been in the Mexican Army. He was stationed at a base in Northern Mexico & the food was terrible. One day they started receiving boxes of chicken & they thought they won the lottery. Over time they ate so much chicken they were sick of chicken. They discovered that the cartels were shipping cocaine North in the cavities of numerous chickens. At the border the cocaine was removed, the chicken was given to the army & the cocaine passed to the U.S. by a different method.

  • @CrwnRoyel
    @CrwnRoyel Před 22 dny

    The reason why is because Mexico has no natural resource (oil, etc) that the US would be monetarily motivated enough to label Cartels as terrorists and incentivize the use of our military. Also, Mexican Cartels have a relationship with China and the US doesn’t want to make an enemy out of any country that touches our border. It’s business.
