I started skating nine months ago with the Bauer X-LS and just upgraded to the Bauer Vapor X4. After trying a few pairs at Pure Hockey, the Vapor was the only skate that felt like it was form fitted to my foot. They are a bit tight, but like you said not painful. Tried them out on the ice and I love the precision. My feet no longer feel like they are sliding around in the skate. I have a lot more control and I expect my edge work will improve. Watched your review after buying, happy to hear you liked them too. Not sure what the difference is between all of the different skates in the Vapor series, but happy with the X4. Hi there i bought Bauer S23's with t blade around 1-2 months ago and im still experiencing a numb sensation in my toes, ive tried everything like changing insoles and keeping laces quite loose, my shoe size is 42.5 but i ordered my S23's at size 44, there is no where in my country to get my skates fitted and i think i have a regular foot width, within the 1-2 months ive been skating ive learned how to do many tricks and am learning grapevine and barrel roll currently but my current skates seem so stiff and hard to control. I was thinking of purchasing the vapour selects but am scared to do so as i dont know if they will fit and feel good as i have nowhere to get my skates fitted. Do you recommend Vapour selects for a regular fit or Supremes
The Supremes are better for a regular fit but if the S23 is too stiff for you, than you should definitely not Upgrade to a way stiffer skate like the M3 or the Vapor select. Check out my Review on the S23 - this is a very soft skate compared to other hockey skates. The numb feeling is probably just because you are not used to hockey skates, just give it some time
Hello, this Vapor Select or Bauer X in 8/EE size for ice skating beginner?
Although I have wide foot in the front, I feel like there's some space around heel/ankle in Bauer X and has been recommended Vapor Select - due to old Vapor/Supreme fitting -> vapor being narrower/tighter around ankle - with the V fit.
I don't plan playing hockey any time soon.

I use 3.7X for two years or so (with t-blade) and are getting worn out, I need to replace. I liked the red in sole, that's why I picked X3.7 for red. It's not the skate, it's who's in them, anyways I like red is why I when with 3,7X now I need to re-think. Thanks Patrick!

Hello, may I ask you? I wear CCM Tacks AS550 in size 43 with a regular fit. I want to switch to Bauer Vapor. What size should I choose?
Between those two Brands and models the fit is very similar, so I think the same size should fit you

Im struggling now. I have a bauer supreme s37 but its a bit too much stiffnes and the volume also too much so now im looking something new probably with less stiffnes and ofc other style like jetspeed or vapor.
Could you recommend anything? 😂

Jetzt habe ich mir den Bauer Supreme M5 Pro geholt. Da stellt sich mir die Frage, ob ich da auch wieder auf T-Blade gehen soll?
Mittlerweile haben die Runner ja deutlich mehr drauf als vor 20 Jahren.
Ich liebe T-Blade aber nochmal über 100 € auf die 700 € Schlittschuhe obendrauf?

Wenn du tblade gewohnt bist, dann würde ich auch dabei bleiben.
Kontaktier doch mal tblade und schau ob sie den Schuh für dich einkaufen und direkt montieren können, das kommt vermutlich günstiger. Falls nicht, kauf den Schuh, schick ihn zum Umbau und lass dir den demontierten holder zurück schicken und stell den bei ebay rein. Die holder und Messer unter den topmodellen sind einzeln auch nicht billig. So könntest etwas Geld rein holen.
Danke für den Tipp… den Schuh habe ich bestellt. Geht dann zu T-Blade. Ein paar deiner Tricks muss unbedingt mal ausprobieren. Einige kann ich durch das Eishockey eh schon, aber du hast echt krass was drauf - Hut ab! Bin jetzt 43 also wird das wohl länger dauern 🤪 bis ich das auf meine alten Tag hinbekomme.
I bought Tblades last year, vapor x3.7, with red metallic stabilizers just like the ones on this skate. The skates are fantastic, but I would advice anyone buying skates with metallic stabilizers, they get scratched way too easily from freestyle and accidental touches of the screwdriver, and the paint bellow is yellow. The fact it's made so cheaply for the higher price of 50e is really disappointing, so definitely buy a pair of black stabilizers as backup.
Thats definitely a poor thing about those metallic stabilizers even if they Look awesome...
I use a metallic color pen to correct it and if they are messed up I change to mat colors - nearly looks the same.

Das musst du t-blade fragen, ich verkaufe keine Schuhe. Aber so weit ich weiß kann man sie sich vor der Montage zur Anprobe liefern lassen. Musst du wie gesagt bei tblade selbst erfragen
Hi, wenn du das Standardmodell bestellst kannst du ihn natürlich umtauschen innerhalb der Frist von 4 Wochen, er darf halt nicht gefahren worden sein.
ich wollte den Select bei TBlade kaufen aber es gab den Schuh weder in meiner Größe noch in meiner Weite. Hab mir jetzt im Sale den Vapor X3,5 für 150€ gekauft und ihn dann bei TBlade umbauen lassen. 120€ extra hat mich das gekostet aber es fährt sich super. Hab leider keinen Vergleich zum Select oder Vapor X3,7.

I'm not looking forward to the day my Bauer Nexus skates finally die. Finding a perfect skate fit is so frustrating.
The nexus series was so comfortable, just great👌
But if you see a bauer supreme somewhere, probably in EE that could be a good fit for you
