- ‘MUA’ is a Rotuman short Directed by yours truly. I wanted to showcase the things I held dearest to me, which is my family and the Rotuman Language - and to convey the most important message of all, to not take either for granted.
Based in Aotearoa, a young Rotuman living with his grandmother strays away from his culture and language and must work together with her to learn more about his identity before it’s too late.
Rotuman blood, Born in Fiji, live in Australia, never thought i would see a Rotuman film and nana just like mine speak alike. brought a tear and gave a like!

I just got back after spending a week in rotuma such an amazing place with warm hearted people that still strongly stick to their cultures
