Hey. Can you help with connecting TD 3 to a lunchkey?
Plug the phones out, into the filter in, for a super squelchy, whistling, chirpy effect! Adds another tone/character, to the box!
Wow, very inetersting. I will check it, thanks!:)
@@doktor.pajchiwo please do! Just watch for the high frequencies, they really bite!!😜
It will give a slightly fatter, distorted sound as it's causing feedback.
Can’t lie you got me
@Daniel Brown chew chew chew chew chew chew chew chew
@@reedzilla5376 Why would you want to lie? (Or do you just get your vocabulary from TikTok)
This is the most in depth walk thru of the TD-3 out there. Props for taking the time to make this, I have learned so much 🙌
which model of td-3 is this,? there are a lot of versions. is this TD-3-RD ?
@@squintygreeneyes From what I see, those last 2 letters apply to the color of it. I have the yellow, TD-3 AM. This one TD-3 RD, would make sense to be red. Other than that, I think all TD-3's are the same, regardless of color. But I can't say for sure, if someone here knows otherwise, please correct me! :)
@@PsyGoaLovercorrect. Although there is now a “MO” for “MODDED OUT” version.
Very Sick! Just got the TD-3-MO and nearly every other guide starts with this is a nightmare to enter patterns.. talk about discouraging a newb, finally you describe it very meticulously, not too slow/not too fast. Thank You!
Lil Trick if you just wanna use the filter. You need to put the slider for the waveform in the middle, so that the oscilator is not playing but the gate is still opening.
This is rhe definitive guide to programming the TD3. No doubt. Cleared up a lot of confusion for me. Thank you very much!
Thanks Paul, glad it was helpful!
Your Channel is King. You helped me with the K2, D and now TD3. Thank you very much.
The most clear and precise instructional video on this instrument. Thank you!
Thanks for the walk through. Really easy to follow if you’re new to the td3 like me.
Man, so helpful. I still need to get my head around the moving ahead of notes, when adding ties, but with another watch and some hands on practice, I should get better and it is all thanks to you. Great job.
Yeah, it takes a while. But, sometimes you have happy mistakes, let it be :)
I just got the Td3 yesterday and this video is fantastic
great tutorial BIG THANKS 🙏 🎉
Thank you for this so much. Been struggling with depression, and music is my saving grace. God bless.✌️✌️
Incredible demo! Wow. Saved me alot of frustration. Thank you! 😀
Brilliant. Thank you. Such a clear instructions for this little acid beast!!! Love it.
This is the very first tutorial that actually works with what i needed to learn. I´ve been triying to understand how to program the whole track secction, for around a year, without success until now.
Thanks a lot for reaaal!!
Thanks for the comment !! it really helps to know the effort counts.
Amazing tutorial! So useful and super well explained. Thanks for this. Greetings from Colombia
Superb and thankyou. Best ever td3 video on the tube. I learn a huge amount. 🙏
Gracias por este video, completo y detallado, recontra util para seguir mejorando
Just bought one, arrives tomorrow, super helpful thanks a tonne
Thanks for taking the time to make this , its taught me a lot 👍
Awesome, it's a great fun little thing. Thanks for the comment.
Best guide I ever seen. Thanks man
Very clear and concise explanation thanks will be dusting my td3 off tonight and jamming 👌☮
Great Tutorial, best I seen on yt, thank you for sharing it with us!!!
Thank you, very detail and clear tutorial
This is without doubt the best video tutorial on the td3. Personally I just use ableton to control it. (So much easier). Now I'll be able to stick it in a bag and take it away with me. Thanks! ❤
Great breakdown! I just picked one up today.
Thanks, well done. I speak from experience and in my opinion it is so much nicer to have the acidlab version of this.
But finally maybe I will try making some patterns on this one after this great video.
Great tutorial, I found the note editing very useful.
This helped me a lot. Thank you!
awesome job man, thanks a lot !
Another great tutorial. Thanks so much. Thanks 🙏
The best tutorial om CZcams, thank you :)
This is awesome, thanks. I've just got my TD-3 linked up to Ableton so will get home tonight and work my way through this in order to understand how to use the TD-3. Much appreciated.
Hope you like it.
Hey ..do you know how to connect it into a midi controller?
@@oshradeiy If you are using Ableton; go the midi tab in preferences and select your midi controller from the drop down menu in the Control Surface box and TD 3 in the input box 👍
Thanks so much, the best explaination video out there
Great guide! It’s also possible to redo the time steps without redoing the pitches, which is a lot of fun :)
Also a fun detail, as bizarre as the sequencer is, I grasped it fairly quickly and had a lot of fun doing semi-accidents. On the other hand, I have never become friends with the Crave/Mother-sequencer.
Thanks man. I got the Novation Peak and the Korg Wavestate!
WOW 😳 just what I needed. My TD3 is just sitting there because I got frustrated with it. Thanks 👍
Great tutorial Eric... Thanks!
This is soooo nice!! ❤
Just got one of these, my first instrument since my yamaha pss470 as a kid
Bro... You literally saved me days of headaches.
this video is so good and helpful. thanks for the help!!!
Thanks !! Glad it helped you :)
great job , thank you !
Thank you. I have been neglecting mine for some time simply because I have bass-boxes that are easier to use. But I am determined to master this thing.
literally same holy shit
yup! Same!
It is funny. Is weird and complicated to program, but that's where the magic happens, sometimes you miss something or you randomly add notes or changes and it always sounds musical.
I've had a lot of equipment like that. It makes me wonder if I should get one or not. Behringer should have updated the controls like they did with the RD-8.
Excellent video thank you
Thank you 🙌🙏🎶
Oh Mate, what a vid just what I needed. I'm a total newb, havin lost 30+ yrs of records that I can't replace thought I'd have a go
At makin some noise, was gonna get a pocket op today but now not sure what I need to sync with this . Will be watchin it a few more times for sure,Best info iv com across CHEERS😁😍🎹🎵🎶🎼🎹🥁🥁
hey thanks for the comment !! Yeah remember a PO uses batteries, it cannot sync the TD3 it need more voltage.
brilliant job - dude!
best tutorial for the Berhringer TD3 i have seen , i can now use mine so much better , thanks.
Thanks man. Glad you could get useful info from it. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you!
I’ll definitely need to revisit this video many times 🤣🙏🏻
Great job! This really helped :)
Great, that was the idea. Glad you got something out of it
Thanks a lot for that tutorial! it is amazing! :)
Thank you !!! Glad you liked it :)
Muchas gracias!!!
Very useful, thanks man! I was not aware of the tap function!
It's a bit weird, but it works....don't know how, but it does :)
@@XNBeatsMusic That feature is just amazing! It made me rediscover the TD3 capabilities and fall in love with it again (I use it now to generate different midis that I use on other instruments also)
Best td3 video ever man should do a Roland one too thanks for the time you put in ❤🎉
Glad you enjoyed! I don't have one. Everything you see on my channel, pay it with my own money. So....the roland one, is very expensive. Unless Roland contacts me to do one and provide it, i don't think I'll cover it. I would love to, of course.
Thanks for the comment
@@XNBeatsMusic @roland
cool guide!
The best of video 43:34 😸✨
Thanks for the tutorial 🤍👽🛸
Amen brother! 🙏
Very Good. Thank - you 🎶💥🎶
Tremendo tutorial.
This is the best
thank u!!
Thanks!
I’ve been using this but yes I’ll take a class
A really good way to learn how to use the 303.
Thanks u for this awesome video✅ 10⭐What a technical nightmare to program this is.😫😵💫This is helping me a lot to get things goin.🎹🎉🔥👍❤️
OMG, I am going to be LIVING with this video, lol! I am no professional musician producer, whatever, just a guy who has been into goa/psy trance since the early 2000's. Have always wanted a TB-303, just because, and now I have the TD-3 to play with! I will be going step by step with what you are showing here, along with you, will help ,e SO MUCH in learning this thing! Btw, I just picked up a Donner B-1 to play with, am thinking if I figure out how to link them together, that could open up some very interesting possibilities! But my main thing here is to thank you for going into this detail on the TD-3, it will help me so much! And, just subscribed! :D
Thanks man, glad you could get something useful out of the videos :)
Triplets, in the context of 4/4 pattern, divides the beat (1/4 quarter note) into three equal measures (1/3) instead of the usual two, or four measures (1/8th notes or 1/16th notes).✌
If the light on 1 (INT) is not flashing all you have to do is the press and hold (back) & (write/next ) buttons along with 1 (INT) simultaneously
Great tutorial. Can you please make a tutorial video on the Beringer RD-9. Thanks.
Thank you for this video! Nicely described. Channel subscribed! ;-)
Glad you liked it, welcome aboard !!!
thanks:)
Would really love a td-3-mo tutorial ❤
Noted! Thanks for the comment.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I got my TD-3 today and I've learned alot thats to you!
Thank you bro! I've had mone for about 6 months and barely touched it because I just don't get it....until now. When I get paid I will drop some appreciation.
Thanks man. If you are struggling, don't do it. Like and Subscribes should be enough appreciation :)
The fact that such a lenthy video is needed for it, should tell you how much work you're about to put into just one sequence
I’m going to get a Behringer TD3 and put some music back into my life !!
Thank you so much. Sequencing on the TD is cumbersome but you did help. It’s not a straight machine but then that’s the way it’s made
Need to see the video again and write down steps
It’s a challenging machine but then that’s the TB 303
Thanks again
Can you tell me if I should get the TD3
Or the Newer one TD 3 MO
Hey love your videos, they've really helped me reinvigorate my interest in going dawless. I recently bought the TD3 - MO, would you say most of this applies to that too or is this a different breed altogether?
Its the mind of thing that you can use in the easy mode and the extreme mode
Great $tuff!:)
king
two times missing the 6 was the best joke :D
Great video! One function that seems important to me and that I cannot figure out: is is somehow possible to transpose a pattern, so that it stays transposed - so that I can chain both the original and the transposed pattern in track write mode?
Also I would love to know what DEL and INS buttons are for... Thanks!!!
amazing, thanks from argentina, acid house for life
gracias a vos. Dede argentina tambien
@@XNBeatsMusic tremendo, ejjeje dame una mano con el gear soy un medico papa de dos niños que no debería estar en esto. Dar una mano = que debería comprar.

Any chance you might do a deep dive into the MODDED out version, TD-3MO ???
Hi, great video, If i have some patterns recorded on FL studio can I play them or save them on the TD3? Thanks
Fantastic! Did you get a RD9 Yet? I'd love to see a tutorial of it and the RD8
Well, it seems getting them or even the new version (mk2) of the RD8 is impossible right now in my country
Great tutorial. Is there a way to change midi channel for the midi din input and out or is it default to channel 1. I see nothing in manual. Thanks.
Great video. Helped a lot. Maybe - just to be a really complete guide - you should have mentioned that it can be controlled via midi and usb too. And do you know what the del, ins and Ch buttons are for? Or did I miss this in your video? Greetings Christopher
I guess I mentioned but I didn't dive into it, with each guide I need to leave some thing out or maybe not expand on it because this videos are reaaally long. Thanks for the comment, I love when I respectfully receive a critic, some other people has no idea how to really talk to people and they just attack you.
@@XNBeatsMusic thanks for your answer. Definitely no critic, your video is really great. Especially the Back button for editing was new and very helpful for me.
@@vokalwerkhamburg5065 Oh ok, still, thanks for the nice and polite comment :) i like those comments.
Great video!! A question, DEL and INS functions, what the purposse of that buttons ? There is a section dedicated to that in your video? Thanks
I noticed ,its also not in the manual.
Hi, thanks for your tutorial!
But is it possible to get the slide effect with an external sequencer (MPC) ? I dont here the slide even i play two notes same time on different pitch???
Mr. Mackie bought a TD-3 :)
Im new to this. Is this what i need to make a song? Where are the drums? Can u do a video on start to finish how to make a song and what u need all way from cables to computer and soeakers and how to hook it all up. Thanks in advance.
Cheers for reply ..did you find that the slide seems to be a problem when editing ? ... it just doesn't seem to flow .. maybe notes in a musical order might be the issue .. and I dont use computer .. should I be aware of something ..?
Is there any way to trigger the programmed patterns via a MIDI note, or something, like in ABL3?
Really appreciate your video, it helped me with track creation.
But can someone explain to me what the Pattern groups are?
How do I know in wich group any of my pattern are?
Is it just that I have 7 Pattern groups with respectively 16 Pattern(a and b side) that i can store and 4 Tracks in Total?
And the Number of the Pattern tells in which Track it can be played?
Is it possible to create "i feel love " bassline sequence with the TD3? Thanks
