Thieveley Pike Fell Race 2010

Set on the high moors above the town of Burnley this classic short autumn fell race takes in part of the Pennine Bridleway. Organised by Clayton-Le-Moors Harriers Peter Booth and his helpers provide a good days entertainment for a bunch of hardy souls.

I'm 36 and have to say I really respect the older guys I see out running. I've always liked to keep in shape but I'm of the opinion that to feel good I have to keep pushing myself. So in 30 years when I'm not as quick as I was, I'll hopefully gain respect from the younger crew for keeping going, and going, and going.
