Cape Town rolling out electric buses for public transport

  • Cape Town is the first municipality in South Africa to use electric buses for public transport. 80 percent of the population uses mini buses, and the Stellenbosch University is converting them into EVs.

    Imagine getting in a taxi, paying, then the taxi decides to recharge for the next four hours🤣

      That's much easier said than done. And while subway is a good replacement for the larger buses within cities, it's solving maybe 20% of the issue.

    Get rid of the coal power plants for good. The commercial EVs will be drop in the ocean without doing that.
