Thanks for letting Alex use your press. Great videos too. Subscribed.
Hey, Alec from next door sent us over. 😁
Another quality vid by the dad n daughter duo, some awesome work gone into that car 👍
I love the content you and your daughter put out. I'm so glad Alec Steele recommended your channel to me.
Alec sent me here, I subscribed!
Thanks for letting Alec Steel use your hydraulic press and stuff!
best wishes for 2022.
New sub! Alec Steele brought me here 😀. Looking forward to some cool vids.
Another excellent video
Awesome build by awesome people!
Loving the build👍👍
It's fun to follow how you tackle the technical challenges, one solved, the other emerging. That keeps the hobby an interesting pastime.
Great work as always.
AWSOME STUFF even if you are struggling a bit :D I really like how you are making your own parts not just go "click click buy"
Absolutely love it when you post a new video, nice to see dad n daughter working together so well, 2 really talented people, beth u got a great teacher in your dad keep up with the good work 👍 👍 🤓
I had to chuckle whilst watching this. The phrase, “One careful owner, full M.o.T.” suddenly popped into my head! 🙄🤣 A really interesting and entertaining video once again, although I was probably nearly as disappointed as you that the car let you down on the line. I was looking forward to seeing it run again. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Well thought out construction . Bummer about the heat of the exhaust frying your master. Would never have thought about that but you have right hand steering . Hope 2022 started good and wait for the next video.
Hi guys
Good to see you back as haven’t seen you for ages
Found your channel via Alec Steel, you have a new subscriber! Looking forward to your videos. Regards
Great video guys sorry you had to cut short your outing as for things rubbing you know what they say "Rubbing is racing" cheers for now cheers :)
I went into a ditch (small speed, no airbag) with the wheel turn in. It completely bent the strut bar like 90° and shear the tie rod. I think the ability to bend save the chasis. I had to change the engine cross member. Making thing more solid will break the next thing. Have fun.
Shit the welder is in the way or shit that was hot ?😁🤣🤣
Nice fab work, but the more welds the more points of failure, I wouldnt feel totally confident knowing this.
However I am sure your work is solid.
Dont forget rear toe in about 1' as this will counter the toe out as you drift and give you more grip when you need it.
and one more sub !
Good work with the coilovers.
Bummer it melted the master.
Few setting to try. Ur steering is pretty similiar to bmw. Try 5degrees camber and caster. If u feel steering doesnt respond fast enough go to 6degrees caster. Did u make ur top mount where the coilover goes thru in the centre?
Heat wrap the down pipe to help keep engine bay temps down aswel.
Seen a comment on rear toe. Am sure ur car has a solid axle so ul not need to worry on that.
Wicked job done . Typical drift car something else always brakes lol that's drifting lol
👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁✌🤞
Sorry you had problems but I know in fact we all know you will have it back out on the track. Happy new year
Just wondering, if you could make a video about replacing the clutch master cylinder that would be great! :p
Might want to Wrap that downpipe. Certainly helps to reduce heat in the local area. Ive done it and it works a treat. Just make sure you wear gloves when applying the stuff. Need to be disposable gloves too as the fibres in the exhaust wrap cause severe skin irritation.
Pushing forward 👍
Definitely consider some kind of heat shield around that turbo and exhaust. Or wrap it. I know it happened because od the plug unscrewed but it will be in long term heat exposure anyways and prone to failure anyways ;)
I haven’t seen a video from y’all in over a month and was wondering if you guys are doing alright.
Hi yes been really busy, we are currently editing a new video, thanks
That’s a shame there is always another time
First
Memorable comment of the day: “you don’t make the wheels fit the car, you make the car fit the wheels”. Love it.
