The square red vented box is power supply for the “Weboost” cell booster. You must of been on your own… didn’t let Carla do the interior… you handled it great!

Nice video, Todd. Though we thoroughly enjoy our 2021 Lance 1172, there is a lot to like about the 960. A non slide with a couch or swivel chairs is really cool. Our 2021 1172 has the quieter generator. It’s amazing how quiet it is.

I prefer the Northwood mgr. Artic Fox campers. the floorplans, you can access the camper with the slide in without having to put it out. better insulation, more head room and a water shedding crowned roof, more counter space with the model 1140 and 1150 just sayin, to each is own.

They’re the best looking campers in the industry. We have a 2922 1172. Live the camper. That rear window behind the couch doesn’t open anymore. They’ve taken the latches off. I e got one warranty issue. My tub surround has cracked in 3 places.
I wish Lance would come out with another shortbed with a slide model. Maybe a slide on the driver side, bring back the 881
I like the 960... just right..
I really like the 1172, but my 2022.3500 dually Dodge Quad cab diesel wouldn't hold that one. Like you said those campers are heavy. Maybe a 975. Great video!
Nice campers but I could never justify spending 92,000 dollars for a truck camper or any camper. But I guess people do.

All bought on borrowed money spend $180,000 today on truck and camper and after the twenty years of payments are over truck and camper are worth $10,000 if you are lucky!
You all must be old because I thought this was a good price for a studio apartment on wheels. At least you can eat, poop, sleep, shower, and watch television in comfort of heating and air conditioning. However, a truck for similar pricing is crazy. However, we live in a world where people drop a quarter million on a sports car.
When I saw the truma stuff on the 960 I hoping the 1172 would have it too. No one on the internet has done a video about a production unit with the Truma hardware yet that I've been able to find. >_

@@mrmorrison299 Hes done a 2023 1172 and hes done a Truma setup. But hes never done a Truma on an 1172. And likely won't for a bit as they have an 2022 1172 on the lot still.
I love my 850 2015 with slide out. The sad thing is that it doesn’t travel very far without a truck. That really adds to the price😮
Do the larger campers require a long bed truck ?

Excellent videos sir! Wish you could have sat in the dinette and showed leg room. What do you think of the smaller soaring eagle campers? Would love to see you sitting in each of their models.

Why can't they lose the propane tank?. Just ONE induction top, microwave, if wet a tankless. And a solar kit.
Lance is the best! The announcer was informative but boring as hell with his mono-toned voice. But learned a lot. A message to Lance if you can’t build a camper the quality for a lot cheaper I wouldn’t build one.😮😊
How would you compare the 960 to the Northern Lite 10ft campers?
Good review! Since you have owned so many different truck camper models by various manufacturers, what is your opinion of the Lance' brand compared to the others? I have always liked the Lance's, but it sometimes looks to me like their fit and finish and build quality might be lacking somewhat compared to other brands. Just curious of your thoughts, since you have owned so many. Thank!
We really have loved our Lance campers and for the most part they have seemed to be well made. Lance have been making them for 55 years and when you own one you start to realize they have figured things out over the years. But no camper is perfect and we do love Bigfoot and Northern Lite campers too. Different types of construction offers different types of pluses and minuses. Thanks for watching!

THIS IS NOT A 2023! This is 2022. Read the MFG date. 2023 Has smaller window by sink and now use Truma Combi. Along with other changes.

I guess there's no sense watching your show if that lovely camper was in the 90s thousand range.! That's completely Ludacris. And I'm not going to call and get the price every time I watch you go through one vehicle
Used to really like Lance campers, but ever since the REV groug aquired them i will no longer consider a Lance, REV is a garbage company that gobbles up others brands into its consortium, customer service disappears, warranty claims and parts get harder to ger covered and ultimately the quality will go down hill fast, and for the price of these units you wouldn't expect any of that, granted some dealers will handle this better than others, my dealer quietly steered me away from a Lance and into an Artic Fox due to all of the reasons above, they had lots of Lances they were fixing out of good will because REV wouldn't authorize the work.
For that money you can buy a host that has far better quality than Lance.
