@@ninadunham3543 Hi Nina, we loved Malta and found the Maltese people so friendly. Living in Mellieha we lived in a local residential area so our neighbours were all Maltese and so friendly and helpful. There are excellent bus services all over the island, as a senior person I paid 25 cents for a journey anywhere. If your friend likes history there are many places to visit and there is always something different to see. There is the disadvantage of the tourist season being very overcrowded and busy, but its a friendly atmosphere. There are lots of walking trails around the island and Gozo is worth a trip anytime. If you friend looks at CZcams "Englishman in Malta" he has some great videos to see, giving more ideas of what life is like on the island. Good luck to your friend and best wishes for the future for you both.

Been to every place in the video except Mellieha Bay. There is also Blue Grotto as well as going Comino Islands to see the Blue Lagoon and The Crystal Lagoon. In addition to that, a visit to Mosta Dome is worth it which is along the way to Mdina. Also went to see Dingli Cliffs too

a wonderful story about Malta. But you missed one important place in Malta
The Mosta Dome, the third largest unsupported dome in the world, miraculously hit by a bombing World war two. It pieced through the dome on the 9th April 1942. 300 people were in the church. No one was injured as the bomb did not explode. Dedicated to te Assumption of our Lady with Feast celebrated on the 15th of August. A public Holiday and the famous day of the St Maria Convoy that saved Malta from surrendering into the hands of our Enemies. Malta the island in the middle of the Mediterranean, in such a strategic position. I hope that this wonderfull video will be edited and have Mosta included. Mosta suffered a lot as a nearby runway in Ta qali was A target in world war 2

The winters in Malta are quite warm. Its average temperature is 17/9 Celsius in winter which isn’t cool. it doesnt really get below 0 that much and it’s summers are scorching hot. Most days in the summer are above 30 degrees celsius at the high temperature of the day.

During our Malta trip this September, we visited Golden Bay and Mellieha Bay Beach and enjoyed our time swimming there as we love sandy beaches. Valletta is very beautiful even the night view of Valletta is also amazing. Very Informative video 🙂 Will try to visit Gozo Island next time

Love Malta, spent Winters there for a decade but as I am not vaxxed would have to spend ten days in isolation now. That I'm told would cost me £1,000, so will spend my money in the UK this Winter. Sad, will miss my many friends there.
