Why does the volume needs to be turned up all the way? Sitching on at -44 and then going all the way to 6? I am trying to find out if something is wrong wrong with my parent's receiver. Even de Headphone jack needs to turned up a fair bit before Music becomes enjoyable. My own todays Onkyo, or even my very old Denon from the 1990 only needed to be turned up a 1/3 of the way and it was/is already beyond comfy listening volume. The Onkyo has en encoder to control the amp. The Denon Volume knob was analogue. Is the Denon of today designed that way? More linear response? I really don't have a clue.
The volume on my PC was set fairly low. Also, there is sound way before you can hear it in the video, GoPros aren't exactly renowned for their mic quality. The volume knob on this unit is an encoder
