- The Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X-traction is a 2001 arena fighting video game based on The Powerpuff Girls cartoon. The N64 version of the game is high the size of the ps1 version because in the ps1 version it's best 2 out of 3 and the n64 version is best 1 out of 1. The PS1 version also had 3d prerendered cut-scenes.

I still own this game. I'm a major fan of the original PPG, as I had seen all 78 episodes and the movie. Seeing the characters in 3D is still pretty cool to me.
I think they did a good job on the 3d jump. I recommend for you to look at relish rampage. I longplayed it on gamecube
Seeing the show intro in 3D at the beginning of this game is also pretty cool.

@@andykishore yeah. For a ps1 game, the graphics (especially the intro) are very good. Professor utonium looks like a roblox character with rtx on maximum.
Fun fact: This game is a reskin of Tom and Jerry: Fists of Furry (2000), which was made by the same developer.

Try the n64 version. It's easier. You only have to do one round instead of best 2 out of 3

@@MutchGames sorry for the late reply,but I saw a review of the n64 version,and from the looks of it,yeah it looks pretty bad. The ps1 version isn't perfect,but at least you couldn't just plow through the story mode by mashing the attack button

I remember playing the multiplayer of this with my older sister can't believe it's been 22 years since this came out.

I looked up an emulator just to play this game. I remembered how much I struggled to play this game In story mode. Then just yesterday trying to get the controls to work on a keyboard, the only thing I needed to know was to do the jump and homing attack and nothing else XD. I beat this game in 30 min with just only the homing attack. No thrown items, no chemical x, nor retrys. I was really mad at my younger self trying to beat this game for days with no memory card. It was still very fun just like the old days >w
I miss the old show 😪 😢 😕 😔 😞 😩 and I wish I could have played this game.

There are some acceptions, but some games DON'T look good in 3D, ESPECIALLY if it's a game based on a 2D animated show! And THIS is one of them!
I don't think it's that bad honestly. But I'd definitely prefer the 2D animated look over this one.
