I much prefer the Mafex. With the version 2 about to drop its a must. I really enjoyed the photos at the end. Hat off to you for having the guts to modify it!
I have seen a similar one to this but the difference is that it has less accessories
So im confused
Is this one a special version?
Or is the one I saw a cheaper alternative version?

Figuarts makes some beautiful figures. Their Darth Maul is my favorite. As far as Mando goes I can’t say I have a favorite in the 1/12 scale but I do love the Hot Toys Mando. Great video, every time I watch one I want to bust my figures out and take some pictures!

The darker Beskar was indeed a "choice" I was questioning--but this thing poses SO much better than the previous one that I am leaning towards this being my definitive Mando figure atm. Currently I have him in the "Darksaber is heavy" two handed pose and he looks great. Having said that, I will hold onto my previous/shinier version because I'm not ready to give up his cleaner look just yet.

The new mafex looks like the one to have although the new black series looks good I don’t like how the figuarts mandos head looks tiny the paint looks great though

Excellent video. Definitely to me also is the mando competing with the Mafex mando. I have both and for the colors and height I'll go for the Mafex but overall figure I have so much funk with this new mando.
I’m not going to lie most black series figures that aren’t main characters look exactly the same from figure art ones

@@brodie8626 I’m a Figuarts collector as well- I have Over 60 of the SHF Star Wars figures and as Many SHF MCU figures too.. And I Totally Agree with What You’re Saying About The Glavis Ringworld Mando Black Series Figure… It’s Probably My Favorite Mandalorian at this Point. The Proportions look Spot on , Like there’s a Real person in an Armor Suit. Just Amazing.
This one is definitely in my top three, with the other two being the 1st Mafex release and the 3 pack Black Series Mando.
I’ve got the 2nd Mafex and both the new Black Series figures on preorder and they’ll probably end up edging them out…

My one complaint on this figure is the wrist gauntlets...wish you could swap the panels to put the missiles and flame thrower effects from the season one mando
Sirdork , don't me to Um actually you lol. The little cylinder thing is supposed to be the the cup that holds the living water that Mando brings back to the armorer to prove he bathed in the living waters. Love all your vids.

A few things... A big part of the problem with the new, darker color for the Beskar -- I'd argue is more an issue of the metal flake size, more than the shade. I think if they used a finer metal flake (like the original and the Mafex, it wouldn't look odd). The Rub & Buff you did at the end minimizes the big flake look.
Another issue is the geometry of this helmet sculpt (T-visor is a dead giveaway being too open, as well as it being bulbous vs. more inset (in the helmet). Also, the seem-line on the helmet is really noticeable. Something Mafex does a better job of cleaning up seemliness...

Anyone have any tips on getting the cape to look good with the jetpack?
I wasn’t able to! But I did find that the figure in general looks really good without it. I always felt the previous versions looked weird and empty without the jetpack
Bought this 2 days ago and the meals solid ! My only grip was this was Miller then my Darth Vader ?! Ebay hold$ out everyone selling action figures 💯! Saw a Action figure Joker and a Batman in GameSpot and comic book store I will buy 💯 ! Not sure what sparkle do but I bought a few boxes! Also waiting tfor you to tell me how I can make it seem as if bullet are bouncing of captin America's shield?!

Ive seen one similar to this that has less accessories so it just a cheaper version or is this a special version?
SHF has put out a few Mandalorians at this point. Maybe the other ones you’ve seen are the previous versions? They do come with different accessories!
Did you have any issues with the right shoulder Paul from on yours? I wanna get this new one but am hesitating because I payed a lot for the last one and that wide-spread issue with the connecting piece breaking happened to me. It’s a great figure but it sucks that that one piece broke.😕
No problem so far! I did notice the hardware was a bit different on the shoulder Pauldrons. Definitely an improvement as far as movement goes! Not sure if it solves the breaking problem however, but I would imagine it does!

I like figuarts a lot, and have most of their Star Wars figures. Saying that, Mafex gets the proportions better on all Mandalorian figures.

Hands down the best 1:12 Grogu's to date!
Now, Mando I don't know... The proportions are way off and the Beskar color too, the cape is very bulky around the neck. Articulation is good as expected and the accesories too, but aesthetically this just isn't it. If you can look past the aesthetics or you like them then I think this is a great option, if you don't then Black series or Mafex are the way to go
