I rewatch every now and then, not only bc Cloud9 played so well but also because - while they are really good, the speed of the game in the past few years has increased exponentially. The mechanic ceiling will ALWAYS be increasing, and mechanics like wall dashes the speed that they can get back on low boost, just insane.
Not to mention the younger players that are coming into RLCS and showing up in big ways, we are watching the next wave of people in the RLCS. It will be before we know it when there are no more players from S1-S6.

Even from S6, you can tell that the game has gotten so much faster since then. Everybody is saying that C9 isn’t as good but I think that everyone just caught up to them mechanically, and now use more demoes and passing plays to cut out that stuff.
Crazy how much faster and fundamentally better they all are now in RLCSX
Wow, coming from season 1 all the way too season 7, it’s insane to see the change of speed in gameplay l, season 1 too season 3 was probably the biggest difference, even just season 5 too this season, it’s crazy too see the consistency improve and the speed as well, but anyways, C9 will always be my favorite and I’m so glad they finally won RLCS
And now in whatever season it is this looks like child's play compared to the pro scene right now.

This series gives me 2016 cavs vs warriors vibes. The fact that Diginitas came into the finals supposedly unbeatable and still ended up getting beat by a team who wasn't even predicted to have a chance is just so crazy.
Back for my 3rd rewatch of what is in my opinion the greatest RLCS run in history by C9. The lads started it all off in the lowers, fighting tooth and nail sudden death style to get to this moment. Then proceeded to bracket reset one of the most historically hyped, powerful, successful, and undefeated in the season - Dig. Then not only winning both brackets, but winnin 4-1 each time and styling on them the whole way through. Nowadays, Turbo is a decent lad - but leading up to this he had the arrogant aura of someone like Lebron James which I never liked that type of personality in a sportsman. I wonder if losing this tournament humbled him out? Regardless, such a glorious, hard fought, and well deserved run by C9 - the boys with the best team chemistry and humble hearts. RIP RLCS C9 you will be missed, but you won it all before C9 org pulled out
