I remember being so pumped that I kept jumping as high as I could for no reason so what so ever :) It was so heavy and EVIL sounding! It was never quite the same after they fired Mike. Thank you and God bless you a million times for posting this great and precious of a rare video. I lived 45min from this venue when this concert took place at the Hollywood Palladium and never made it and didn't know they played there on this date. How I missed this concert is beyond me and am thoroughly annoyed that I did not go.
My friends and I tried seeing them a little over a year earlier when they were opening for Van Halen at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa California. Our ride was late and the traffic to get there from the San Fernando Valley area was beyond torturous. By the time we got down there we were almost completely depleted of energy and mental clarity. Then we walk in there not only to have completely missed AIC, we missed the first three or four songs into the VH set. This is from the heart and truly mean it and that is this. Thank God we had people to film these concerts and thank God people post these videos on You Tube. Layne and Mike are gone and on top of that, it seems like a lot of these bands take eternities to realize there is this universe of people who want to see the pro shot live video from these tours from so long ago. So many concert videos are in vaults.

I literally just got done with Live in Rio and now Im watching this one. Such an incredible live band. Laynes voice is underrated and was one of Rock musics best. RIP Layne.

His voice isn’t really underrated at all. It’s pretty well fkn known that he had the vocal range of a God.

Dude, Jerry and Layne sound *incredible* during “hate to feel”. They were always great at harmonizing but that first verse was transcendent even for them.

You could see Layne time the drumbeats and Jerry's solo in his head for when he sings Love Hate Love. There's nothing wrong with it, just something adorable about Layne that I observed.
    Layne starts stripping ....
8:16 - There goes the jacket
23:46 - There goes the shirt
LOL Layne's shedding clothes and people in the audience keep throwing their own clothes on stage.

This is insane to watch by the minute. Must have been a upper and downer that allowed Layne to sing like this.. Maybe the band was affected too. But i just wish we could have seen Layne at 28 sober for 6 months and hear how he sounds....
Maybe, the power through a set wouldn't be there in that scenario.. But I believe the voice/vocal control/passion.. And most importantly honesty would be there. What a legend
