Besigye is an Ugandan politician, physician, and former military officer. Having served as the President of the Forum for Democratic Change political party, he ran for presidency four times against Museveni, who has been the President of Uganda since 1986. Besigye has been persecuted by the government on multiple occasions for his criticism of the Museveni administration and is currently barred from running in the 2021 elections, following his rejection of the official results of the 2016 poll which he declared invalid.

As a Tanzanian I had never really followed up and listened to him throughout his political struggles but through his talk he has really impressed me. That's who you want to give a chance to run the country. He has the knowledge, seems genuine ,caring for the people and wants the country to develop. The reason Museveni does not fund Uganda's Education system because he does not want Ugandans to get knowledge and be well informed. When people are well informed then they will know that the power rest in them. Then, they can organize against bad government. But most importantly a well informed population will develop their nation. Why would a Ugandan member of parliament get paid $10000 in country with bad infrastructure, problems of hunger, inadequate education systems, poor health system and many other necessities that a country need. The cost of leaving is very low in Uganda as compared to Europe and America but their members of Parliament do not earn that much.

You are Crazy in the head they are both working together we have one opposition now..
This was a set up for years back copy words well..
He is a strong biz man in our country and musevenis' oil discovery is looking at dealing with total thats him..
That means museveni has been around us even when we thought he was..
Now the revolution is taking up, this is history and evidence is taking up..
Rember he was a doctor of YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI ("TIBUHABURWA") THE ADDED NAME AFTER DEMAND OF MUSEVENIS EDUCATION DOCUMENTS BEING ASKED,,,
in the bus they are together lol..
Alot of preasure that has never ever been seen in our country even when Besigye contested...
We need change but also Besigye fears the change cse he was a player of the corrupt government..
Im a young Ugandan Citizen saying so!!! and i have a right cse our country is almost full of my age below and above...🤣🤣🤣🤣
