this video was originally suppose to be two way different videos; but I decided on making something more light and fun so you can have something to laugh at. seventeen's dynamics and bond are unmatched, they're not just members who respect and cherish eachother they're also a big family who have spent the past almost ten years with one another. this video was made to celebrate their very special and close bond.

One of the reasons I really fell in love with them is because of their bond, in all 14 years of my life looking at kpop groups, they're one of the only ones that feel more like family rather than business partners, and it's heartwarming to see. I’ve been a fan of other groups as well and I can say their bond is what makes them unique aside from being a 13 member group. No one outshines the other and all of them shines bright when together. I became their fan during left and right era then watched going seventeen and truly IT GOT ME HOOKED. Replayed it sooooo many times. Total package. Very underrated. Lilies.
Me too, I got into KPOP back in 2015 and NONE of them have the same bond as seventeen does. They all treat each other so preciously and you can tell they are like a family

I'm someone who is a dedicated stan of 20+ groups and it is hard to keep up with all the amazing groups, but Seventeen is one group I always check for EVERY SINGLE DAY. Just got into them around 4 months ago, wish I knew about them sooner, will never ever regret stanning them until the day I die.

They really are precious there's no reasons to unloved these 13 dorks, Mingyu said when he look at his co-members he looked proud because thay are too lovely and when mingyu said that he literally described me or the carats because this is what we think when we saw SEVENTEEN. Seventeen says "come slip into diamond life" they aren't wrong because the day I suddenly slipped, my life was changed they fulfilled it with love, i really experienced that diamond life til now.

When you fight with a friend, you might never make up and you'll most likely just not pursue your friendship any longer. But family, family isn't like that. Family can be by blood or be chosen, but when you fight family, people you truly consider family, you'll always make up. Familial bonds can't be easily broken and they're so much stronger than just friendships.
That's a huge difference because even when you fight and have arguments with family, you'll always make up and you won't ever give up because of one or two fights. Because disagreeing with others is natural, we aren't the same so we will never NOT have arguments, but when you choose to still be there for someone even when you fight, even when something hard happens, even through important events, that's when you have chosen your family.

I sometimes think how can many people be in house loving each other, with no jealousy and our not even biological siblings stay together but kpop groups makes me realise true love doesn't have any conflicts
I think it's the years they spent tgthr.. from SVT, what I've seen is that they openly say whtvr they feel as it is. Once, Jeonghan openly said in live that he felt different between his birthday wishes n Hoshi's based on how mny people wished them. If he had not said tht, it could lead to some hurt feelings but saying it openly reduces tht negative impact. Not to mention their small conflicts like who will pay for their rides etc..they just openly say it n make it cute fighting rather than letting it root in the mind. The words can have power, but many times in relationships it can remove that power out of growing mind tricks n words. ❤️

the vid made me really emotional so, oversharing!
growing up in a relatively abusive parental relationship, i ended up developing crippling anxiety that's constantly at war with my almost obsessive, almost compulsive need for being perfect for and to everyone. the thing is, even though I'm the youngest in this household, after my dad left (when I was about eighteen, not too long ago), the weight of keeping my house standing fell really strongly on my shoulders and managed to trick myself into a routine relatively quick to get a job.
also, bit of background, i fell into the kpop rabbit hole in late 2016, and ever since 2017 i knew i really liked seventeen (both the people and the music), but even when i did want to stan them, for some reason i never got into it.
THE POINT BEING, and sorry for the unnecessary autobiography to whoever happens to read this, i eventually lost the job i mentioned above and it was a mix of feeling like a failure and being relieved for not having to leave my house. but, fast forward some time, i got a great opportunity and (after 4 days of obsessively consuming SVT content) finally got it for sure today. i lit spent the rest on my bed, shaking and unable to breathe, until this video. it wasn't music, it wasn't watching a tv show, it wasn't reading or writing; i managed to relax after fourteen hours of manic behavior when i watched this seventeen video.
thanks to you, dear creator. and thanks to the boys, for unknowingly being such a safe space. i can't wait to get to know them more.
