It’s on the IMMI website but I believe it said that past and current visas will be refunded as long as you ARRIVE before the date states in the video 👆. Good luck!

Okay. Those are both fine! Not knowing anyone is how a lot of travelers start and you can meet people there. For being from South Africa; I’d check the Immigration for AU website but I’m pretty sure your options are good! Better than most others.
