- this is for the michael guerin week 2019 on tumblr, for the prompt "cowboys don't cry" (it works because i cried while editing this. thankfully, i'm not a cowboy)
so yeah i love him and he makes me very happy but mostly very sad and i've been wanting to make a character study for a while but for some reason this was super difficult, like i couldn't find the right song and i struggle so much with vidding rnm compared to poldark for exemple because imo a lot of what's important is subtext and not really shown. Ultimately i'm still not satisfied with this (especially not the end) but i'm glad i could finally finish it because it wasn't a given lol.

This is such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful, complex, wonderful character. You captured him so well, and your love for him and his story just _shines_ through every frame. It's genuinely lovely.

Was Michael abused?
No but he never really had a family. He grew up in the foster system.
He actually was. He mentions how he Was in a couple foster homes that weren’t very good such as a addict couple (which by itself can’t be at all good) he also mentions how He was in a very religious home and they weren’t afraid of getting physical. Between physical abuse also the fact that he was abandoned probably a lot and treated horribly could mean psychological abuse. He did say that there was a exorcism preformed on him when he was like 12 or 13.
@@hannahbriggs6313 actually he was don't talk about things you don't understand and you didn't spend enough time watching the show to understand. He was abused badly by several different Foster families.
