From the first time I saw the performance of Oleksand Klymenko on TV I stil have tears each time I re-watch it.
The male judge looked like someone hit him with a 2 by 4. He almost forgot to clap.
I have no idea what Oleksand Klymenko was singing, but it was beautiful.
He sang about love for mother.
I'm not going to lie... when Ruth came on I danced lol
Love the musicians so many times from so many countries, they seem to always be great also. They don't get enough screen time or credit. Their music makes the singers better.

Désirée and Олександр Клименко blew me away; they sang with such power and pathos that no translation was necessary. Maybe he was just dressed like that, but it looked like he was a monk or some sort of Orthodox cleric. Does anybody know? I loved Tina's reaction when she saw him for the first time near as his song was ending.
And of course, it warmed the cockles of this old heart to see Guy cover Little Richard's "Lucille" in the style to which she was originally accustomed.
You are right, Olexandr Klimenko is an Orthodox cleric from village Nedra, Kiev district. He said about it after his perfomance.
That first one got some tears flowing, so emotional, first time I have had the first comment :)
