If we love the past because we have done THE WORK, then we love the future. Its exciting to know when you know that youve never been born in the first place. Its exciting to see how someone could actually believe you exist at all, and so thats the end of death. It ceases to be anything negative in the world
Byron Katie is the founder of The Work. Katie (as everyone calls her) not only shows us that all the problems in the world originate in our thinking but gives us the tool to open our minds and set ourselves free.
The Work is based on FOUR QUESTIONS which can be done on your own or with another person, ending with a process called a "Turnaround": The four questions are:
1. Is it true?
2. Can you absolutely know that it's true?
3. How do you react when you believe that thought?
4. Who would you be without the thought?

@fallcrysilk - Very well stated. Your comment is something almost identical to a journal entry I wrote a few days ago. This knowledge humans like us have is a sign we are of the Cognescenti.
Yea, you have to be desperate because your EGO won't drop until it just HAS TO DO THAT. You can't use normal reasoning for this because these things are the ones we don't normally take into consideration at all, these are things of SOUL, not things of brain and thought.
