That oil filter has been worth every penny!
Yeah, definitely saved some trouble!
not like the engine originally did not have an oil filter ;-)
On the other hand what you can't see can't hurt you.
There is known problem with the bypass on these filters. They are shit. Peter modified it to stop the issue.
Good thing he fixed the bypass
Your approach to this build is so refreshing and excellent inspiration. To take a car this heavily modified, power through the last portion of the build and then immediately have the confidence to hook up a trailer to it, travel around hitting tracks, doing burnouts and hard launches is impressive. Well done. Also thank you for showing a very practical approach to a build by keeping things simple where needed, and spending time/money on details that count. The world of cars needs more of this.
Thanks for your nice words!
Well said 🙌
my man is legend. brand new build, not tested, and just slap some caravan on and having good time
I love the family vibe from these meets. It's not about how fast you can go, it's about going as fast as you can. Random people will help for no reason 🙃 it's a great atmosphere 👌
It makes me happy to see American cars getting so much love in Sweden! I have sold two cars online and they got bought by people in Sweden, a 1972 Plymouth Road Runner, and a 1958 Chevy Bel Air with an LS1. The buyers from Sweden have always been the best people to work with.
The american classic car culture is strong here, there's a lot of really nice classic american muscle spread across Sweden.
@@simon515 That is very cool! The buyers I have dealt with from Sweden have been genuinely excited about the cars and happy to get them. It is nice to know that other countries love our cars as much as we do!
Love your build, love the love Swedes have for the American iron, but 5 second street cars?!? That's completely mind-bending. Swedes are absolutely insane, and I mean that as the highest compliment! Bravo!
It's 201m (1/8 mile).
Also notice the lack of prep
Well..,they are not Street legal...
Insanity! Amazing insanity. Beautiful insanity. Passion everywhere. What a show.
Normally in the summer cars with caravans are making long queues on the roads, but during streetweek the cars with caravans will blow your doors off when they pass you on the road 🤟Keep it up Peter
Fantastic job at driving and filming the event. Insane variety and level.👍👍
So good to see you Drive and Race the Volvoghini
Nice to see you! Great, lovely build. Cheers with my Volvoghini mug
,,,, and their all street legal cars,,, Got to looooooove Sweden,, 💖🥰💖
Cheers and thank you so much for your time and work Peter,, 🍻😎👍👍
You are a true star,, 🌟
Gotta keep the beer cold at all costs,! 😂🎉🎉 230v generator lol. Thanks for covering this event! ❤
i adore that you have the wagon on (albeit very wide) steelies - money and time are where it counts which is why the build is SO cool
Never boring Peter! Thanks for the update, and good luck for the next run.
thanks for the vid Peter! very cool 'roadmovie'! it's a real fun and hats of for your team as well, to put the car on the road for the race and helping you during the week! good luck!
Such a cool project. I love the old rwd volvo wagons and i love the sound of a v10. Congratulations on getting it running and racing it at the track. Fantastic to watch
The whole build was like a tasty dinner and now we're enjoying the dessert. Fucking love it!
Du måste besöka team televerket, skönaste killarna på streetweek!
really enjoying these quick edits dude.... keep em coming!
Loving the action and so glad to see volvoghini turn a wheel👍 hoping she does you proud 🤞
I'm happy for what you've accomplished. Congrats
Awesome! Merch bought - keen to support videos like this! 👍
Strong of you! ❤
Im so happy to see you upload more frequently again. Im hoping it means that your mental Health has improved too.
That 340 is epic. Glad to see them finally getting some love.
Tack för en rolig film serie
Great to see you back behind the wheel Peter!
Great videos! Finally the Volvoghini is rolling! Congratulations!
For next year I think you need a better gearbox, maybe a drag automatic or a DCT. But DCT might be tricky to fit.
Always loved going to sweeen and watching drag race
Looks like a fantastic event. I would love the visit. Greetings from the uk 🇬🇧
Grymt jobbat! 👍🏻
Great coverage.
Just love this videos so many cool cars i wish we had same posebilitis in norway but goverment there is like Gestapo.
What a great channel …love it
Thank you for filming all the adventure
Pls show us some of the diesel cars
you are having fun and i am toooooooooooo lets keep the videos coming
You are awesome Peter 🇸🇪👍🏻
try slipping the clutch a tiny bit while you launch. Perhaps programing the engine to reduce the timing a bit when you reach close to limiter so you can shift the transmission while it isn't loaded which will prevent your transmission from locking you out of 2nd gear
Thanks. 😊
👍 And tack from 🇫🇮
Kommer till Vårgårda och tittar i morgon!
Awesome car.
Peter, look into getting a decent battery system in the caravan for your refrigirator etc.
Love it! 👍😎
ty ^^
Gearbox upgrade next!!! Need to get that N/A power efficiently to those skinny tires!
If the Volvo would hook up and get that power down on the road it would be quick. Love the build it's well done
1:52 That looks like a HQ Monaro!
Holden 💪.... Miss my FB 😢
Cool build, but i liked the mighty 2jz more I must say 👍
Great videos you make! A suggestion! Can you please interview and film Björn Lersäter and his Audi urquattro ?
Please show a little of that blue BMW E36, something really common in regular racing, but uncommon in drag 😅
The Volvo with the carbon fibre is from the UK, a very quick street car.
Your right, Street Eliminator class, he was running a supercharger before, now looks like Turbo set up?
where you in Northern Ireland at some point? swear I saw this car on the way to derry
Good work bud, 12-15psi on drag radials should fix your problem. Don't over heat them in a burnout
Peter, do you have any reference material regarding the geometry changes you have made to the rear suspension? I have trouble getting traction with only about 400 Nm, with about 86% anti-squat.
I never have thought there would be so many american muscle cars in sweden!
Ehat was the set up for that BMW at 2:05. If it could hook it looked like it would be pretty serious.
When are you going to do the great American road trip and take it on the Hot Rod Power Tour, or even Drag Week?
The car seems to work well, especially considering that you went straight to the track without testing. It does not sound like a Gallardo though, it sounds more like an E60 M5 which is not a bad thing. I do not remember seeing the exhaust in any of the prevous videoes, does it have an X-pipe or any mufflers?
They just hacked a exhaust together the day before leaving for street week. No x-pipe but a big ass classic muffler in the rear. You get a glimpse of the exhaust in the first two minutes of the day one video. Gonna sound great with a proper system though!
5:00 polse med brod or something like that. I was at the wrong meating. Hope to see Volvogini soon.
That black 142(242?) is gangster!
Chysst kombi😎bra video
8:55 Nice Radiators.
Do you have any plans to turbo the engine?
6.09... Volvo 360. ❤❤❤❤❤
Obviously I’m here for the Volvo but that blue e36 was crazy
Was the dog tampering with the fuel pump??
:)
👍
Where and when is the next event?
Gillar kattbilderna i bak ha,ha humor!
Are these 1/8th mile races?
Anyone know what the running gear in the Mk2 Escort is?
A few teething problems but its still rolling 😀
some of the best shit on youtube. raw as fuck
The amount of 5 sec cars is a real suprise for ne holly shit the sweeds take drag racing serious 😍😃
Is this eigth or quarter mile?
Will we see a big V8 with a big turbo next year :)
what's the dogs name ?
Hatten av Peter! Grymt bygge!
👍
This time announcer is having a time of his life😂
I know this is not the place to discuss this type of topic but how are all this cars street legal?
Why no launch control? It seems to struggle off the line? Very cool video!
I think he's just testing things out this season, making sure the engine runs smooth etc
Did not have time to set up, but check next video ;)
This built is not complete yet
Volvoghini phase two: rear mounted turbos
Please show us the guts of that 343 or 360 :-)
letsgooo
What are the times/speeds we are seeing on the display board? 1/4 mile, MPH ?
1/8 and kph
@@dorsetwarrior3870 Thanks. Looking at some cars set off, I could almost believe 1/4mile, but the track did look shorter than that!
give us the audi R8 story, what happened?
Cool, they like American cars in Sweden
How long is the track? Can't be 1320ft
They only run 1/8 mile during Street Week I believe.
Love the comment "smack there in the hole" 😂
I better do not open my oil filter, if I see something like that, that would be instant death for me :D
