This is a pretty solid and straightforward 17 and the song is also incredibly fun, honestly my new fav 17
DJ Yoshitaka's quest to release the same song as many times as possible continues
well now that tag’s gone someone’s gotta pick up the slack
I really like this song. Better than Triple Counter. The production quality is great as well. At first I wasn’t the biggest fan of this song but after listening to it a few times I changed my mind. It’s a great song.
After finally hearing the song in its entirety, I seriously don't understand why a lot of people don't like it. It sounds inoffensive, even pretty good.
Also, chart looks quite fun.
People just don't like fun
The melody is just repetitive IMO, it’s not offensive. It’s kind of boring to me. We’ve heard this kind of thing before. The only saving grace for me is SYUNN’s beats.
@marten
Pretty much like every yoshitaka and taka song have a base that they all follow and just play piano over it to make it sound different. I think the oldies are just running out of ideas. Just like how sota songs all sound the same in the more recent ddr games.
ghostfire1234 Yeah I guess this is true with DJ Yoshitaka and dj TAKA. But I’d argue not so much with Sota or TAG- some artists just like sticking to their genre style. Sota and TAG are still pretty unique with their song structure
@mulazer
Well I remember the golden days of sota in extreme all the way to ddrx. He had some variety there. But now most of his songs sounds the same. New decade, magnetic… they’re almost the same beat…
One of my first lv.6 clears in IIDX, now it's here on the arrow game.
This chart looks fun!
Pretty solid 17s with many jumps, long streams and jacks/foot switches!
This is what we in Team Red have been fighting for…
So beautiful, especially playing it in person…!
Definitely a step-up from Triple Counter!
common dj yoshitaka banger
ようやく来た…!!
Triple Crossover
Strong calf’s for those jacks
Triple Counter 2 Electric Boogaloo. Honestly think this is about as hard as Triple Counter, but this seems to have more step jumps. I suck at Triple Counter though lol.
Triple Counter remix
Entry level of 17
Entry Level 17, This will be my warm-up song when i get to the arcades and i will recommended this to anyone who wants to enter the Level 17 area.
Total banger.
I gotta remember to just stop coming down into these comments some of you people hate fun lmao
I don’t see any kind of hate here. All I see are some criticisms that can be more or less justified. No one here hates fun and we’re all entitled to our opinions. I can say with a safe degree of certainty that there isn’t anyone here who hates this song or chart, but rather wished it was something more.
Cousin of Sunkiss Drop
Insanely easy 17. Harder than Digitalizer, easier than Possession. Unsure if it's harder or easier than Bi and Tiger Rampage. Either way it's absolutely an intro 17
Honestly, it seems like a stamina + footspeed demanding chart more than anything.
Yep, stamina is definitely what makes it a 17. Patterns are quite easy
Yeah...I've only ever cleared 2 17s - this and Bi lol
Thoughts on the song:
It's not as good as Triple Counter or Triple Journey but it's still pretty good. Acquired taste, I like it more now than I did before. Chart has always been fun imo
So all these new songs...does that mean no new mix for a while?
They may be hinting a new mix, as when they announced the next season for BEMANI Pro League, the three games will be beatmania IIDX 29 CastHour, Sound Voltex Exceed Gear, and DanceDanceRevolution (just the golden DDR logo, no A20 PLUS)
This song is not new lol.
Lol people really do say any old thing on these apps. There is nothing wrong with this song. Anything involving Yoshitaka is generally good, and this song is no exception. Stop complaining about every freaking thing. "iTs NoT a HaRd 17" ever stop to think that perhaps the chart is meant for those who are trying to cross in to the Lv. 17 barrier aka an entry-level 17? Everything doesn't need to be "sugoi desu". If you want harder, but boring charts with no thought put into them, go play ITG. I can appreciate that DDR at least puts some actual THOUGHT into their charts instead of trying to make them impossible to play. Stop with the over-the-top elitist tryhard attitudes. Literally no one cares. Play some 18s or 19s then if 17s are so "easy" to you.
Also, it was pretty cool getting to see DJ Yoshitaka and DJ Taka perform this live during their set on the BPL Finals. I wanted this song as soon as I heard it. I will always appreciate DJ Yoshitaka's consistency.
Ettitene said that in one of his videos “It’s time to fix DDR” about charts being out of sync or out of place which is quite often as of today. This is first time we had a chart that fits brilliantly with the song.
Long time no see, Yoshitaka.
This song is not new. It was already on IIDX. It's just "new" on DDR.
But still hearing him participating in songs given his charge on Konami it's basically now a needle on a haystack. So it's Nekomata Master who is now the eSports head.

Sure is a Yoshitake song alright
triple mids
The part at 165 looks fun.
Unfortunately that is the only part that I like. The chart and song are really boring.
Song is great, but can agree the chart feels a little lackluster
