When Morissette sings songs of reverence, it's almost as if Angels take over her entire body and through her vocals, God blesses us with her as His gift. She is a born again Christian and will praise God whenever she is interviewed. Many mainstream artists shy away from doing that because perhaps they feel it's not how they want to be perceived by their fans. Many execs in the music industry, unless it's Christian music, want their top artist-money makers to reach a certain audience who aren't true believers. You can tell this by the songs they sing (the lyrics), the way they have them dress and their bad-girl, bad-boy images they expect them to portray. Morissette does none of that!! She does not bow to them nor is she willing to sell out her faith for fame!! But she still deserves fame. She, to me, is THE BEST vocalist, performer, storyteller on this planet today and I hope for many, many years to come!! I have been going through so much pain because of losing three of my Aunts this Pandemic, my mom died in 2012, and also my father just last year in June... All of whom I have never been able to see one last time and talk to as well because they all died so suddenly. That it feels like I am just having a nightmare and until now I still can not accept, or believe that they are all gone forever without any closures. I'm also going through severe depressions and constant panic attacks/anxiety... While listening to Morisette Amon singing... I can not help but cry and sob like crazy. I can feel the pain and longing through her singing, her voice digs deep under my heart and pulled out my exhausted soul... longing for release, resurrection, answers, and redemption altogether. I feel goosebumps throughout my body... I needed this released, my heart can no longer take it, it feels like it was going to rupture. Morisette's voice is so hauntingly beautiful, raw, it tugs to the heart and souls, and transport you to different levels of emotions. This rendition is so heartfelt and captivating. Excellent job Morisette... Thank you. ❤🙏🎶
