- Paper pads can take up a lot of space in the stash! I worked through my 6x6 paper pads pretty quickly. Make quick decisions!

I recentLy pulled some of my oldest 12 by 12 paper. As I went through it, I made a stack of about 100 sheets to use this year. I also had an opportunity to donate some for cards. I gave the lady about 100 sheets along with some 6 by 6 pads that are really old, pretty but neglected. She was thrilled. Her college students are using it to bless an organization that is a great cause. I felt great. It also boosted my desire to use the older stuff. In a month I've used about 20 sheets of long lost paper to make cards for bring smiles to seniors. It's Benn a happy crafting month.
That’s fantastic! I’ve found a local place that specifically requested paper craft supplies for special needs programs and they are getting my next big box!
This video has inspired me to pull out the few remaining 12x12 pads that i have kept since moving 2 years ago. I had to really down size back then and donated about 40 psper pads . I plan to pull out all tbe papers i kkow i will never use and give them to my grand daughters. I have reslly enjoyed this series.
Yes! This really helped me refine my stash to just what I love!
How is family doing in your new home and neighborhood? I can’t imagine the strength it takes for you to accomplish family, a move, school and working. Thanks for the time you take to do these videos. I don’t know if you are religious, but you have been in my thoughts and prayers! Happy Easter!
PS My husband said “you have devoted the whole basement to paper!” He rationalizes my collection as “emergency toilet paper storage”. Quite a bit of drama for a man with 5 kayaks.
We are doing well! Staying busy with so many things to do! Happy Easter to you as well! I love that line, “quite a bit of drama for a man with 5 kayaks.” 😂
Purging paper is the most time consuming of the purging projects but so needed! I wish I had a place in my area to take my NO piles as I have now finished purging paper, embellishments and letter sticker thanks to Laura’s easy to follow method!!
Yes! So true! I would check with Girl Scout Troops, daycares, churches, and special needs programs. So many are thrilled to receive them.
I've been culling my 12x12 and trying to cull lots of other stuff but realise I must be a hoarder of craft stash!!!
It multiplies so quickly! I never realized how much I had until I started organizing it!
Ohhhhh! I need to do this SO badly! 🥴
The problem is I feel like I LOVE all my paper! 🫤🤪
I will try!
I understand! Patterned paper is my favorite too!
You never disappoint!
This has been such a cathartic experience!
Thanks for sharing this! I don’t buy small paper pads anymore but I have SO many in my drawer! Will be going through them this weekend now!
They stack up so quickly! Good luck!

Thank you, Joan! This series has been so much fun to do and so helpful in refining my own purging process. So glad it was helpful!

Laura your amazing I look at my supplies and am like um ok I want to have more time to create but yes some has to go to make life easier.
Are you going to do some more 6x6 series?
True! Being able to find my supplies is so necessary to the creating part! Yes, Quick 6x6 Tricks will be back, I just needed to give myself a break.
I'm not really a fan of paper pads because more often than not there's more I wouldn't use than would. I'm glad I figured that out early before I bought a ton of them.
Yes! I rarely buy them anymore. The only sure things for me are Vicki Boutin, Paige Evans, and Cocoa Vanilla.
Paper is definitely my hardest choice to make... I think you're saying, 'When in doubt, put it in maybe.' LOL To be honest my maybe pile is "If I have space for it I'd keep this paper." I do have triplicates of some papers, so I will have to purge some of those.
So true, Tania! I am obsessed with patterned papers! It’s by far the supply I have the most of and dreaded purging. I rarely use the “maybe” pile (you may have noticed) and I use it to keep the process moving. It’s more like a “later” pile. 😂
