When you hear the echoes of children inside the school, you realize how sad and tragic the Chernobyl disaster was.
I thought I was hearing things but I did hear the children
wat happened in chernobyl
vI NEST vl a nuclear accident in 1986
basically a nuclear powerplant blew up spewing radioactive material into the air
Can you please provide the reference to this?
This is probably the best mission in a video game ever.
no russian
NO RUSSIAN
No Russian
Im offended with you guys saying no russian. Im russian, grew in russia, spoke russian and so fucking offended. What if i say no american.
@@depressedguy600 "No russian" is a mission name in MW2.
my favorite MacMillan lines: "don't even think about it." "Don't do anythin' stupid" "The word 'stealth' doesn't mean anythin' to ya does it?" "are you datf?!" "stay hudden" and "oi! suzzy!"

After you kill a dog” that doesn’t sound good”.
He didnt say 'Oi! Suzy!' the one who said it was the one ur playing as
“Target down I think you blew out his arm, shock and blood loss will do the rest”
When cod was actually good
+Hooded Stranger you got that right and people call me stupid for not buying advanced warfare
+Hooded Stranger I'm guessing you liked CoD Ghosts then?
+Hooded Stranger the key was infinity ward lol
+Silver Gumba More like the old infinity ward staff, before half of them were kicked out
Yes it was, and one of the best games i ever played. i enjoyed it some much that i tryed for a long time to finish the game on the highest difficulty, at the end i made it. 2 missions were almost impossible to do.
My favorite mission in the whole cod series.
the atmosphere in this missions is amazing..
yes, i think this looks more authentic than all of the battlefield games.
Agreed👍 one of the best.
u still agree with this? considering cold snore and vantrash
@@Wicced1x.you dumb? 😂
Cod 4: McMillan: patience...don't do anything stupid.
MW2: price: patience...don't do anything stupid.
in that miion ur playing as cpt Price
COD4: Price: “check close corners”
MW3: Wallcroft: “check close coners”
MWII:
This started the gillie suit craze
yup
For me it was the Chernobyl craze
Spectre bro hell yeah!! I remember being so intrigued by it and almost obsessed.
This mission was splendid, totally didn't know what was in store for me for the COD 4 campaign. I loved the stealth and how the mission could go two ways, guns ablazing or stealthy as intended. But, the last segment is what really got me. Infinity Ward emphasized the post apocalyptic feel to the city, not the beautiful fall colors that you actually see some times of the year.Rather than thinking ''Oh cool, an abandoned town, nature is slowly reclaiming it'', you get the chills. The ghostly sounds of the children who died are heard in the background, the last sound being a cry for help. You're all alone, just you, MacMillan, and the only other sign of life being the chopper that briefly flies by. The windows are cracked and broken from abandonment, overgrowth ruggedly deteriorating the buildings, mold, peeling paint, old posters. It's cloudy, and cold, with small drifts of snow. Then you hear MacMillan's immortalized words. ''Fifty thousand people used to live here. Now... it's a ghost town. I've never seen anything like it...''. The quiet, saddening, lonely track plays in the background as you and MacMillan see where it all happened. There sits the Chernobyl Power Plant. Silent, with a rusting sarcophagus and old cranes, where ten years ago they hastily tried to contain the radiation. Everyone who worked the jobs containing the radiation have passed away. And there sits the old, rusting sarcophagus and the cranes that helped put it together, essentially dead too.
Exceptional writing!
+goodlyboony Whoa I really went all wordy with that comment. lol
Bob Builder Yes you did, but that's not a bad thing at all. I'm disappointed though that 90% of the people didn't even give you the chance and read what you wrote.
goodlyboony
That's true :(
Especially after that update sometime ago that seems to make paragraphs disappear, making people not motivated to read longer comments lol.
Bob Builder I can understand as to why they implemented this feature, but I don't blame CZcams. I blame the shitheads that just press enter infinitely and cover up the entire comment section. lol
8:37 is the best part of the mission. Oi Suzy that's how it's done 😅
See, missions like these in cod are so real and much more fun and cool. Now these futuristic cods are not even fun like the older cods.
We took the futurustic cods for granted lol
CoD
Ghost, Advanced Warfare and Black ops 3?! Seriously?! What were they're thinking? That was my biggest problems when Black ops 2 was coming along for changes for digital futuristic stuff. I don't like the changes. Cod 4 Modern warfare, World at War, Modern warfare 2, Black ops 1 and Modern warfare 3 were my favorites back on the Xbox 360. I still play those games on backwards compatible to prove I'm old school. It's what Randall said from Jay and Silent Bob strikes back.
And for the record. The time sucked ass.
13:55 you can clearly hear the ghost of a child say "help!" 😳
Bruh they're Ukraine. They didnt speak English in Chernobyl 😂
4:55-7:00 This part is a heart stopper. this always have me holding my breath.
true cod right here, no robots and shit like that, pure badassery fucking intensity definitely one of the best
All the futuristic COD games are just shitty. THIS is what COD should've been...and then Infinity Ward RUINED it with Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare

0:22 the soundtrack this game had... still gives me chills to this day. SO MUCH nostalgia, one of the best cods ever.
Having a main leitmotif that's used in different forms across many different tracks (which this is) adds so much to any soundtrack. One of my all time favourite soundtracks for sure.
11:57
That sniper fell awfully fast
Remember playing this when I was younger. Now that I’m older and slightly more educated. I love how you can see the tower from reactor number 4 off in the distance at 1:02
This is what call of duty used to be.
by far my favorite cod for campaign but mw2 for online game play
The fries they blend so perfectly
MW 2019 was the best in YEARS imo
@@packerfan9372 Yes I would agree, COD4 had the best campaign no doubt, but for me WaW was my best experience online. MW2 was still great tho!
@@packerfan9372 WaW is better IMO
The color palette in this mission is awesome too... This mission (along with it's second half "One Shot, One Kill") at the time was and will always be epic.
This mission was such an adrenaline rush, even watching has me at the edge of my seat. How COD games should be.

5:00 that moment when all gamers clenched their butt cheeks
Dude when i first played that part with the tanks i was like "OH HELL NO!

I broke many controllers there
The ghostly noises of children really make it feel like a ghost town after nuclear fallout
5:38 I always hold my breath during that part😂
I love when MacMillan says:
THERE's TOO MUCH RADIATION, WE'll HAVE TO GO AROUND
I actually prefer the original version of this over the remaster. This one just feels far more atmospheric and grey. Such nostalgia watching this as well.
Yea the ghillies look good too but I think they changed up the remastered version
without a doubt the best COD mission ever. it's magnificent.
The music starting at 12:30 is just beautiful. One of the best (and most underrated) video game soundtracks of all time.
This mission was the peak of Call of Duty.
And now this mission is happening for real...
If it does, it’ll be a bloody Convention out there…
When I have bought a nice house with a beautiful wife, watched my kids grow and moved out and finally enjoying my days in retirement, I will some day return to this game and play this mission, thinking about all the awesome shit I did as a teenager.

now after remastered again reboot but expecting that this will give again rise to new COD
Ghost was good
Ghosts was ok, but it could've been better.
@@Chavylifts one answer to that question: HELL NO
Then all the ghosts fanboys roll in with “gHoStS wAs gOoD !!!! 11111”
This was the most tense mission of any game I've ever played, but it was done in a way that it was enjoyable. I have no idea how, but it was. And I loved it.
This is the exact point in human civilization where shooter games had reached its peaked - cod4, crysis, gears of war.
Muted colors in GTA 4 and COD 4 really gave the games a harsh feel that future games lost
Yooo I wasn't the only one who felt the two games have similar vibes!
Yes now everything is vibrant and over saturated
And now we get to do All Ghillied up IRL, Chernobyl fell to the Russians today.
Sad but true
13:24
This scene always sends chills down my spine
This mission and Vendetta, best missions ever, so much adrenaline
What are the enemies on this mission and what are the enemies on vendetta?
Euward Andre Talanay on this mission you fight russian ultranationalists and on Vendetta you fight nazis.

Hi I'm from 2019 and cod 4 remastered is great!
I wish I could time travel back to 2007 to play this
Same I wish I went back in 2003 with the first Call Of Duty.

The most eeriest sound you’ll ever hear in COD, and after seeing the mini series Chernobyl, this mission just becomes even greater!
4:39 The part we all came for.
Wat
So true
I don't get it
Noodle Boy this is the part where you sneak past an armed battalion
Sam W it was was either not getting stepped or getting flatten by a tank
still to this day, this mission gets me every time. I love the stealth, music, settings, dialogue they used here, it fits the mood perfectly.
Ohh man, the nostalgia is to much! Greatest mission in COD history!
CoD
Damn, COD really predicted 2022 in 2007.
😔😔😔this sad
A true masterpiece of a COD mission. This mission got me interested in the Chernobyl incident and Pripyat. Splendid work and hopes for another game based on Chernobyl and Pripyat that lives up to the legacy of All Ghillied Up. This needs to be a basic requirement for post apocalyptic games. Fallout needs to take inspiration from this one mission.
CoD
My most favourite mission out of the entire game! =)
same here
Definitely my favorite level too. I don't know about you but I held my breath as the tank passed over me.
ya big time
TBH prob the best mission in all of COD in my opinion
AceShotz Agreed.
Best mission in all of the Call of Duty series
Besides the one after this
Agreed!

I'm just here after the Chernobyl HBO miniseries and boii oh boii, the atmosphere, the vast emptiness, and the locations are relatable.
The best campaign mission in cod history like if you agree
Best mission as well as best campaign in the franchise.
Fun fact: You only need to use 3 bullets for this entire mission, I've done it a number of times. The only compulsory kills are the first guys (MacMillan gets the other one), the look out in the church tower, and the sniper on the fire escape after the "bloody convention". You can sneak past all the rest. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself.
wouldn't you need a fourth to kill zakhev
Ruthlesspanda That's the following mission, One Shot One Kill, not this mission which is All Ghillied Up.
@@Travis-guy-247 Agree with you.. However I use 4 because of the guard on the ground at the church.
Just watching this brings back so many memories. Countless hours playing with my clan. I miss these old times
I remember my old days playing this game like a about 20+ time i just play when i have a 7 years old i just playing this game 7 years its a long time i just played a call of duty mw 1 2 and 3 nice game best memories
COD4 just had the best COD campaign ever! Just playing the Remastered Version again. All Ghillied Up, Charlie Don't Surf, Death From Above, One Shot One Kill are my favorite missions
11:58 - Did you have a nice trip, mate? See you next fall!
Theres an intel up to the ladder in the church tower
Hands down the best mission, the way you can hear the echos of the kids screaming, mixed in with him saying that’s it’s a ghost town. GOD TAKE ME BACK!!!!!😭.
I remember this like it was yesterday
This mission aged so well
Don’t think it did
this music still gives me chill right through my spine
This video is good. It includes the briefing, most important part of any iconic COD mission IMO. Good lookin out person who made this.
This is the best mission and always will be 100%. The stuff that comes out these days is rushed ideas that get created with no thought what so ever, who ever came up with the idea of every second of this mission deserves to be heard.
I loved the follow up to this mission, 2 snipers against the whole russian army. And the fact that Macmillan gets hurt adds so much to the suspense of the 2 levels.
This mission has the best atmosphere
can't wait to boot up my game November on 4th and hear "50.000 people used to live here"
now it's just a ghost town....
Gives me chills every time. Takes me back to when I first played this mission back in Christmas 2007. So much nostalgia… CoD4 Remastered come at me!
Same mate!!
Starscream Lol, it's CoD4 dude. Unless you're one of the noobs who joined CoD later on just because it was cool xD You're clearly not one of the CoD4 originals, so back the fuck up ;)
After 7 years it's canon
This was always my favorite call of duty game and this was my first call of duty game/favorite series and a bonus this was my favorite call of duty campaign missions
It's the soundtrack that just gives me chills. I remember it from my childhood
This mission brings back so many memories 😢
Legendary mission. It was a surreal feeling playing this for the first time
Modern Warefare was by far one of the greatest COD games of all time, if not the best. The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant in this mission, and honestly through the whole game. This always takes me back to when I was a little kid watching my dad play the games when they first came out, and playing them for myself when I got older. Such an amazing and devastating series to play
Uh... anyone else heard "help!" around 13:55?
By far the BEST MISSION in the BEST CALL OF DUTY game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the Best FPS game on PS3 and Laptop ❤️❤️❤️
It's been nearly 20 years and this mission is still so amazing, wtf
Great mission, best in the 1st game
The player base of Infinite Warfare is going to be like Pripyat....Empty

One of the best game ever made and easily one of the best mission ever , I played it when I was a child but still love it to this day

yup cant wait to see those tanks in the new graphics

One of my favourite missions in call of duty Series!!!
Thanks you helped me with this mission alot
The missions leading up were cool, but it was this mission and the AC-130 Gunship mission that got me hooked on the MW series and made me realize I was playing a military style game like none I've played before. My prior experience were games like Syphon Filter, SOCOM Navy SEALs, and Ghost Recon. This blew them out of the water as far as attention to detail (for the time) and smoothness of gameplay.
When cod used to have some realistic stuff, now it's just go go go 1vs 1000 just go. God i miss old cods, announcers and more. Now announcers sucks
