Groudon and Landorus have both done the same fucking thing to me (both of which thanks to Earthquake). Thankfully I've at least caught Groudon since then, but still need to find Landorus again. I was so pissed that he beat us in a pinch that I didn't even jot down his location LMAO

Yeah it does. But when I spammed wide guard to make up for thousand arrows... Zygarde just spammed dragon pulse and my AI partners didn't help at all 🙃
Pelliper also has wide guard btw.
Mantine, Peliper, Kingler, Mienshao and Hitmonlee all have Wide Guard.
Update that is 3 weeks late: I finally beat him without any wide guard users. But I had Dragonair with blizzard and NPCs with good typing for ground

Had him in like 5% with only NPC's when sucker decides to throw 1000 arrows and Land's wrath consecutively to wipe my whole party. lol.

After 7 tries I finally beat Zygarde. It was a big help to have Cryogynal because of its Blizzard and Emolga's + Cryogynal's Levitate to avoid the ground attacks from Zygarde. I had Mimikyu myself, so it helped me to put a curse on it.. Finally!

I can't believe I actually ran out of turns with NPCs on my first fight. He was already on the red...
Had Trevenant with Reflect and Horn Leech to put up grassy terrain, and drain punch too, and one of my teammates even kept burning him. So he was basically powerless, but so were we 😅 a couple more turns and we would have won.
And now I finally caught it with 6th try or so and it was EXTREMELY weird fight. First of all, I started as Flygon and kept it till the end. One NPC took Piloswine and kept that one. Found a Ditto along the way and one of the NPCs took it, other one took a Grovyle. So that was our team. Unfortunately, we had already fainted 2 times and I was joking to myself that yeaah, this must be the run that I catch it when I finally found Grovyle and a Ditto.
But when we went into the fight against Zygarde, he used LITERALLY nothing but Bind the whole fight. So we bombarded him with Dragon and Ice attacks while Grovyle Screeched him. So we won without any more casualties, even after he transformed. I can't believe this just happened. Thank God the ditto or any other Pokemon weren't Shiny that time around. I would hate to beat Zygarde again! 😅

Bringing a zygarde into an online battle is big flex
The scariest part is that transformation has 50% forms full hp. I believe it's max hp goes up by 30% I it's construct form.
I almost beat zygarde my very first time running into it. I needed just one more hit but of course, all three of my npc team decides to use self stats boost and ended up losing the next turn.
I never rage quited so hard in my life. I never got close since then, I'm still trying to get zygarde

Dynamxing Abomasnow is great. Also make sure to find a mon like Claydol with Trick Room and levitate.
It makes Abomasnow really fast and find at least 1 other pokemon with a ice move. On top of all of this... don't lose your lives before reaching the end and hope for the best.
Zygarde is TOUGH but not unbeatable, i caught Zygarde on the 10th retry on my 1st day today.
I've caught about two thirds of the legends so far, moltres took a few attempts because of heat wave, but Zygarde was absolutely the worst so far. Took 6 or 7 attempts before I finally managed it with a froslass.
I swear that thing is hella annoying ngl. TBH when I battle Zygarde I usually lose because of the npcs spamming the same status moves or I get hit by an attack that lands a CRITICAL hit

Even with ice moves it’s still an ordeal to takes down, I was using a vanillish with ice beam and blizzard and was so damn close to killing it and the storm won again, I’ve tried countless time and still don’t fucking have it, it’s one of my least favorite Pokémon now
Literally had him down under 20 HP.. barely had a red bar... Hadn't lost anyone yet.. back to back Lands Wrath, whole team dead... Like.. ffs

Gyrados who went 3: let me explain
Me and my teammates all had ice type pokemon luckily. So we spammed ice moves before he could become perfect zygarde.
In my case he was frozen solid for about 7 turns! Although I had Sceptile I got lucky with the fact that the 3 other Pokémon knew ice beam! Took me nearly 4 hours to go back and forth trying to finally catch it!
For anyone struggling with this one. Best to do without NPC. Things that will really help:
- Jynx can let him sleep + ice attack
- alcremie has "Decorate" boost sp. Attack sharply or other support moves.
- wide guard
- fairy attack
This one is mostly about support. Get him to sleep with jynx or butterfree,
Support moves to either lower his or raise yours
Ice and fairy attack.
We had a vanillete (ice cream thing) supporrted with decorate move. 50/60% of his life was gone with 1 max hailstorm.

I got it just the other day, me and three randos online. My Jellicent kept using Icy Wind and Dazzling Gleam, Weezing Dynamaxed immediately for heavy Starfalls, Comfey spammed Draining Kiss, and Hitmonchan had Ice Punch that freeze haxed once.
Weezing fell after the transformation, as did Hitmonchan. I fell a turn later as Comfey kept the fight by healing itself, and we won! Misty Terrain definitely helped, and it did not use “the combo” so we did it!
To think that the Squishy we remember turned out to be a monstrous dynamxed creature.
Years later, i went back, and lost again to the pokemon i have checked.
My team actually won this guy first try and I’m hella proud of it, we had a hitmonlee using wide guard, Allan sandslash damaging him a ton, then I was a tangle putting him under paralysis wild
I had 3 ice types and we couldn’t kill it. Then my hail finished it. confusion

@@newr97y57 Ice moves are indeed very effective against Zygarde, but he has Ground moves, which are super effective against Ice, so Ice types shouldn't really be used. I would use Flying or Fairy types. Flying because Ground ≠ Flying and Fairy because super effective against Dragon.
Moves like Wide Guard are insanely good against Zygarde Ground moves. Pokemon like Mantine is also good.

Won thanks to having Porygon, NPC with wide guard, NPC with Quash, and Zygarde spamming Land’s Wrath
Its awesome, but seeing two Mimikyu in your box made me the day, because Mimikyu is my favorite pokemon.
zygarde being the pokemon equivalent to emerald weapon from final fantasy finally becoming more apt

It took me like 6 tries, but I defeated it. Lmao, the winning try was so easy: I defeated all 3 pokemon before Zygarde in 1-2 turns, and when it came to Zygarde itself: I dynamaxed my Piloswine , then Jynx put it to sleep with Lovely Kiss and then with 2 Max Hailstorms and 1 Ice Beam, Zygarde was defeated, and it didn`t even used Power Construct. It always depends on your luck with rental mons, teammates and 3 battles before legendary.
Man I lost to Zygarde 4 times, but I got lucky got Jynx, and jynx was able make zygarde to sleep and use ice beam, and that how I got zygarde 😂
took me YEARS to finally beat him and capture him. and now I don’t even want him after all of that
Something to keep an eye out for when playing with humans; electric types.
Odds are if someone takes an electric type at the start over other options, it's very likely they're going troll you and throw the adventure. I had a guy take a rotom and we went down all the wrong paths. I only figured out he was trolling me when he kept using Electro Ball against a lanturn, which had Volt Absorb.
So that's the trade; AI will cost the run with bad choices whereas humans will simply throw it away and waste your time. It's lose/lose.
Fun fact: the legendaries in D-max Adventures have 100% catch rate

Finally, something Mega-esque(and probably the only thing in Sword and Shield that is) that has a connection to Mega Evolutions, Primals, and and Ash-Grenjinja!😄🤩😎👌
I did this raid solo. I had a cryogonal, a drakloak,a Klingklang, and a minccino. I used max hailstorm wiping about a quarter of its health, then drakloak used dragon ascent but missed. Minccino used triple axel which hit twice then klingklang used metal sound. Perfect for me. Zygarde used bind. Then I used max hailstorm again, this time killing it instantly before it could even transform. Me and klingklang were MVP
Listened to Audiomachine's "Dark Rider" as Power Construct activated. It fits perfectly.
Was able to beat it with a Glailie and a Haunter that kept putting it to sleep.
Fought it for the first Time and as soon as it started we all got one shot

I kept getting blown out of the den because zygarde instantly defeats pokemon in one hit.
I had 3 ice types and I was togetic... The land move didnt do too much dmg to my NPCs. I stupidly dynamaxed and could have won if I stayed normal and used life dew... Another time I had Jinx as a NPC and she kept making Zygarde sleep which was fab, but the rest of us had the shittest pokemon and couldnt do any dmg even tho Zygarde was asleep the whole time :| STILL CANT WIN ZZZ
This raid is a pain in the neck. I just did it and my teammates Drapion got crit twice

I owe my victory for this adventure to my rental Alolan Sandslash. It really came through with its two Swords Dances and singular Avalanche.
Question is the Power Construct ability guaranteed as in is it the only ability Zygarde will have?

Why is it that the hardest challenges in Pokémon involve Ground/Dragon types?

A defensive type and both types being physically damaging and specially damaging.
Fortunately, both types are mainly slow, but without proper ice types, you’ll be dead in one or two hits.
You know the funny think, I go for Shiny Hunting for this Pokémon because I lost the Shiny Mystery gift event, and the most time's I lost because my teammates do honestly bad moves... thx God he took me only 3SRs (and 4 lose so total 7 routes) for get it Shiny
Took me seven times before I finally got lucky, and caught the sunavagun!
honestly, this guy wasn't that much of a problem for me, I think I got lucky and used an ice type or something with a good ice move the second time I fought him. Groudon was the one that was the hardest for me, kept getting him to a sliver each time than he blasted my team with his blades and killed at least two
Even when I have other human players with me we either get dumb people or just bad rentals

Somehow I clutched this on my 2nd attempt when one of my partners had a Cryogonal with Blizzard.
Lmao it took me 8 tries by having my boi crygonal to crit him with ice beam. My strategy is use use drown and hope the npcs won't be bots

Groudon,Landorus,Reshiram and Zygarde are the ones I keep losing at in pokemon sword.
I play with NPC's a lot because I have bad internet connection sometimes and when I play with 3 other people online when I use the internet I sometimes get someone who takes to long to pick a pokemon or to long to make a move.
Most of the NPC's that travel with me are smart but not all of them. The same thing with some people across the internet. Most people will pick the right moves and pokemon but not all the people that end up with me traveling during the max raid adventure. And then there are the rental pokemon, I do like most pokemon rentals but some of these rentals have bad move sets.
I got Mewtwo,Azelf,Uxie,Entei,Suicune,Ho-oh, all 4 tapu's,Giratina, Guzzlord,Pheromosa, Nihilego and Kartana so far. Most of them with only the help of NPC's.

i have beaten zygarde twice by pure luck by using vileplume sneasel(npc had it in the same battle with abomasnow) and abomasnow(i've also used it to beat both kyogre and groudon(i've also beaten it with a politoed(with it's drizzle or rain)
vileplume is a good one to use against zygarde and the other two tough ones(in my view) kyogre and groudon(solar beam)

I was able to beat this thing because my mvp teammate kept putting up wide-guards and we took no damage from lands wrath and we beat it

Its just a roll of luck... you need AT MINIUM... 2 Ice attacks and the other two at least having Dragon or Fairy. That is at the mercy of the RNG gods with what you come across for pokemon at the start and the pick-a-path. And then have the AI do dumb single target stuff like in this round.
I also noticed that in this run... although he changed forms Zygarde DID NOT get the low health additional moves. So there is a cut off somewhere where you can trigger the Form WITHOUT triggering the additional attacks.

I heard that many people said Zygarde is crazy difficult. I brought him to 50 % healt easily and wondered why they said this fight is difficult... You already know what happened after that. Yes, it's a downhill from there on.

I got super lucky this morning.... killed it in 2 hits without wide guard, mummy or anything really. Didn’t transform.
My Cryogonal dynamaxes first turn obvious max hail. The rest of the team uses metal sound twice and acid spray for some reason... still slightly more than half HP left. one more max hail and it’s done.

I would have beat him first try with npcs because we all had ice pokemon. Right before we fought Zygarde, we ran into a scientists and one of the npcs traded his pokemon for a raichou. This raichou died 3 FUCKING times in the SINGLE fight.

I need this video. I don’t have Nintendo Switch Online so I have to rely on the AI and we usually get it into Complete Form but then we lose. I just hope when I do finally beat it I don’t get a Shiny. I hate Shiny Zygarde. The white and mint green is just too bright of a color scheme and is a literal eyesore to me. It physically hurts my eyes to look at it.
I beat Zygarde first try but that was because i had reflect on cryogonal and a clefairy with follow me. Kyogre is so much worse and its shocking how no one talks about it.

This is my first raid battle I got. I have tried 15 times. My team gets me kicked everytime
