Today I want to share with you what is happening in my kitchen and not behind the scenes. This is how my day goes almost every day. Every week I work a lot with the dough, I test various recipes for myself, and then I show them to you!
This time I was presented with a wonderful cookbook and there was a recipe for delicious pies from custard yeast dough. According to this recipe, a fairly large number of small pies come out, or you can make a smaller number of large ones.
Pies with egg and herbs on a custard basis, recipe:
Filling:
10 boiled eggs
large bunch of green onions
large bunch of dill
salt to taste.
Grind all the ingredients and lightly fry in a small amount of oil.
Dough:
800 g premium flour
50 g fresh yeast
2 cups water: 1 cup warm water and 1 cup boiling water (mine is 250 ml.)
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
half a glass of oil
For frying pies, you will need approximately 400-500 ml. vegetable oil.
