Since this has a small comment section, and you probably see this, I wanted to let you know of a type of video I always looked forward to. You should try to do a patch notes rundown and reaction vis that includes other streamers like SNNUY. I know of a past LoR creator that did this, and it quickly turned from a “streamer” vibe,to a fun and friendly “podcast” vibe. Unfortunately, I believe that creator doesn’t upload anymore, and since, collaboration around the community have taken a downturn IMO. Hearing your fav streamers ping-pong ideas and outlandish combos with new cards is super motivating as a player to make janky and creative decks.
PnZ version is way better imho, evil imperfectionist copying time bombs (or even better, rite of passage) is insane value and it pops off quickly. More combo-y than the ziggs version, but you print way more time bombs and typically win with most nexus damage being dealt through them, it's so much fun. You also have the occasions where you can copy hexite crystal, which is always a blast. Evil imperfectionist is an incredible card, its importance in the deck shouldn't be understated
Pretty sure that the OG timebomb printer was with ionia (recall zil) with one copy of monastary, basically meme to the extreme. The actual playable printer is mono zil (100% rite) with piltover/zaun. Main idea is to Evil imperfectionist/counterfeit copies the rite of passage or hexite crystal. The highroll potential is downright ridiculous.

I play a lot of Zilean Xerath and the fact that Ionia has no effective way to deal with Xerath makes it a fairly easy matchup, specially because I run triple Hourglass to keep Xerath out of removal range, so Xerath just keeps on shooting stuff and delaying the game for the Arsenal to build up keywords and win the game. My version runs 3x Arsenal, 2x Rite of Negation and 2x Minimorph, I don't run Quicksand tho, there's just too much I'd like to run in the deck instead of Quicksand. I don't run Rite of Passage because the landmarks I destroy aren't usually ones worth resummoning and Zilean level up is kinda of just too hard to go all in it.
I definitely agree that the mono Zilean version is better, but it leans way closer to a combo deck. I've basically onetricked it since it became a deck and it's incredibly fun, although quite challenging to play and polarized in its matchups. This is the list that I've refined and I'm certain that it's only like one or two cards off. The glorious evolution is not a meme, I think it genuinely usually goes in the deck, but probably not when ionia is all over the meta. I'm too attached to take it out, though. How is Viego balanced? He just uncontrollably scales out of proportions while spawning big ass units and then even if u have blockers he will just atrocity ur nexus. Not to mention husk highrolls for 1 whole mana giving him elusive, regen etc.

Also, the mono zilean lets you kill zilean with rite of calling to kill zilean and then draw another one so you get more timebombs.

Prefer Ekko Zilean, mainly use Zil as subwincon to Ekko/Voice of the Rise/Chronobreak, with Rite of Passage, it's really easy
