Cupid draw back your bow! Wow a mega place Lough Arrow. Absolutely lovely. You’re right it does seem a very quiet place water fowl wise. I hear Guinness is a great mosquito/ midge repellent. Don’t know why they were bothering you!😂 you looked in seventh heaven with that trout fishing gear. So peaceful 🙏❤️ loved the old Abbey and the mention of old megalithic leg lines. Number of bird watching places in Wexford. Wexford wildfowl reserve which is slob land beside Raven Point, Our Ladys Island Lake and Saltee Islands although the puffins will be gone in a few weeks.

I visited Achill last week on your recommendation . Very nice .We stayed for 5 days and did a little fishing . We stayed at the seal cave site . It was packed not a single plot for rent. To many people and it got very noisy at night but it is summer hols so we are going to try again later after the kids have gone back to school. Our tent was next to to others and not enpough room for guide ropes lol. Great stream mate . The sea food shack was open and was very good. Please keep them coming. When are you going to be around the Galway area ? Thats where we live .

We stayed there about 5 years ago and we still talk about it, like you it was only to be a few days but stayed for a week so peaceful loved it.

If you go in and out from Belfast you will not have any problems in my experience Mick and it’s a soft border so the only way you know you have gone over the border is that you will see the petrol prices go from pounds to euros and they won’t accept any money other that euros in Southern Ireland 👍

Not to put a downer on things...however I look at lots of worldwide youtubers and even though the powers say the sea is rising every river I've EVERY river is noticeably lower and lots dried up fingers crossed it changes
