No, too laxed for my taste! Essence Festival has definitely changed. I guess I will let the younger folks have that because designer or not. I am not disrespecting the history and legacy of Susan Taylor and "The Essence Brand". I used to go to the Essence Fashion Shows. All glam; never a sneaker.
