@@georgeofhamilton Young Hamilton, the crushes motivation can stem from numerous places.
For example the crush may have powers her self and already be aware of the listeners power. Prehaps she got close to him to steal his powers aswell to get even stronger
Maybe she was being controlled by a 3rd party.
Another possibility could be that she had no other choice, her parents may have been kidnapped and she may have had to betray the listener to free her parent from the kidnappers.
If non of those tickle your tenticles, the crush and the listener may have made a long forgoten promise together in their childhood which would be something like "Kill me if my powers ever become unstable". But because the listener forgot the promise, he forgot he told her about his powers and doesnt realise that the crush is already aware of his abilities. So the crushes motivation would be to kill the listener to stop him from becoming a villain to honor the long forgoten promise and save the listener from him self.

This roleplay represents the wish of every 11 year old boy who wanted to have powers and impress their crush. Also I loved how you kept the powers as ambiguous as possible so we could imagine independently the power we had. New subscriber definitely!
If you make this a series, I think you could either make her like someone to help the listener, probably not fighting, more like helping him to know stuff about the "bad guys" lol
Or you could just make her a friend, both of those options are amazing for me

I just got out of a really bad and toxic friendship where they made me think no one could care about me, right after I find out that my 1 ½ month old puppy has heart disease and might not live a long and fulfilling life. having you do what you do always just makes me feel better. I have *NEVER* understood the logic of: I can't be in a relationship with *ANYONE* because if the villain(s) discover who i am, they'll go after them.
*IF* the villain(s) discover your identity, all they'll have to do (if they're vaugly intellegent) is: observe you, where do you stay? Who do you hang out with & where? Who do you like?
It makes not telling them not only a moot point, but could also put them in danger via *LACK* of knowledge!

I think it's some element either fire or ice, because it happens on the hand (meaning it is visible, unlike wind), on command. And our guy is susceptible to injury, so it's not invisibility, super strength, or elasticity. Definitely not flight because it's something conjured on the palm.
