Thank you for responding quickly! I have turned on the camera access to the app. The camera is receiving the QR code, but keeps giving me the error.: network connection failed. The app suggest using a hotspot, and that is received by the camera as well, but then says: return to the app to complete network configuration. Yet the app does not allow me to go forward beyond that screen when connected by hotspot.
@@NobelCorporations I'm really not sure . there is step you missed maybe ? or most commen mistake is people type in the wrong password or capitals or etc. follow the video and see if missed any steps ? other than that not sure .hope this helped
@@NobelCorporations Like most things try the reset button hole thing or delete the app and re download it. Start fresh.

yes I think you could reverse the image in APP .
And when you RESET them make sure you hear that click inside the camera when you push the pin best and than camera say RESET to the memory card space there is small hole and you have to push the pin inside to reset the camera .

nope .that is it . the only thing you have to buy is a memory card if you like to record . but no other monthly fee .
I've got the exact camera. 3 of them. Box is identical too but the instructions say to use a different app. which is no big deal. I want to use all the cameras in different areas. The app has a space for additional cameras once you set them up. My problem is it only works with one at a time. How do you do a split screen showing all images in real time?
yes I noticed they all look the same but some have different apps . I'm not sure how to do it yet with multiple cameras . probably make a video for that soon .

Thank you for this great video. However, I am getting stuck at the point where it is trying to connect to the Wi-Fi. It keeps stating “Wi-Fi connection failed” and I am right next to the router. Also, my Wi-Fi and password are verified. Any suggestions? I’ve been trying for hours!
it could be few different reasons . check the APP permission on your phone . make sure the the app and camera have access to phone. also make sure to RESET the camera before trying to set up ? also WiFi could be stronger in different areas of home .try settings up in a different area of home like different room or kitchen ? watch the video from beginning and check you follow step by step . hope this helped .if nothing works you might have to return to supplier and try another brand?

Mine only works when I'm in front of it! As soon as I move away it looses connection to wifi..

Thank you for this excellent video. However, I keep getting the wi-fi conection failed. My password starts with a lower case letter but it automatically uses a capital letter. Is there a way to change it there? I don't see anywhere. Thanks

Any way to access the camera without! the EaseLife app? I'd rather use iSpy as I can access many types of camera's.
I hardly dought it as the app is built in the camera. Maybe there is a way to change the app... I don't know about it.
@@gooddealguy2000 oh there are ways of changing the firmware in hardware but, like you, I also don't know how, though I do know about it :D. Wish I could find the info I need. Also, your words "the app is built in the camera." are a bit mistaken. What's built in is the ability to send the data to a specific server that then forwards it on to an end user. Basically a packet sniffer to see what's transmitting and some skill (some of which I don't have) are needed to figure out what to do.

the one I used in this video is my desk lamp lol I just took the top off and put camera instead of lamp . you can buy the amazon or wall mart etc.
Is the data that is read by the camera available to the manufacturer to view? I thought I read that somewhere in the fine print.
Some of these cameras charge for cloud storage and you sign away yout rights to all the saved data on cloud. USING a 128GB card only = no subscription.
you have to check with that with manufacturer or do your own independent research ...I know there is big issue with a lot of smart devices and how they can keep your data or share with other third party companies. to your question about v380 pro app I'm not sure if they keep data or not .hope this helps
What I have experience with installing this camera for my customers and also with other smart cameras in the past you almost have to RESET THEM FIRST before even trying to install and connect them with your smartphone .

Hi Thanks for your video, can I add another mobile on same camera ?( mine and my wife ) if we both download Ease Life app. the camera I have purchased is asking me to download Tuya Smart app and I am afraid there will be charges later on due to it affiliated to Cloud . Thanks very much.
I use tuya app for some of my other smart gadgets . great app . but before you do check the settings on ease life app and see if there is share option in settings ? you could try tuya app and see if its compatible . hoestlyyiu can try and see witch one give you the share option .I know some of them do and some do t just haven't use this one in a while I have to check .I hope this helps you guys
Do you know what size/type memory card it needs? I tried a couple and they do not fit.
its a regular SD memory card . I believe it only supports up to 64 gig card but not sure . I never use memory card and all my cameras are on cloud storage .your best bet is to bring your camera to a local store to check the size for memory card .hope this helps

Hey good afternoon I have set up mine however one just mysterious just stop working just say oh oh device disconnected 1week after purchasing and installing now the other is saying the same thing can anyone else say if they have experience the same thing
unfortunately sometimes they glich or rest them self . sometimes the connection goes on and off . its very strange but they are budget cameras and not the best quality unfortunately

No once it's set up its good to go and you can install anywhere around the home
Only if it gets reset by power outage or when you update your phone to another new phone you have to install all over again

probably missed a step . commen mistakes to check for :
if you put wrong WiFi password maybe ?
check the app permission on the phone ?
make sure to reset the camera and they again ?
also you have to hear a beep ...make sure volume on phone is up ...
its always something small lol please watch the video fully and than try again .

hi ! I haven't try this camera with hotspot yet .not sure if it can connect that way .I have to try and see if that is a possibility? will post a new video soon if that option is available on this camera . but I'm sure you will need a WiFi .other wise the camera won't work when you are not home 🤔

Yes. It won't work without wifi .

Does this actually function as a light or is it a camera only?
some of them have MOTION light so turns on with movement and stay on a minute or so . But you have to check with sellers . this one I'm using for this video with this app don't have the light .
Thanks for responding. I went through the settings like you said in the video and figured out how to activate the light. So it does have one! It’s motion censored though, it doesn’t just stay on.

There's a local direct connection Option in Me tab on the app navigation. Do u know the password for that, it's not 123456.

I believe its in the setting . its motion light so when someone approach the camera it goes on

Mine keeps saying waiting for connection, my Wi-Fi is 5g and doesn’t give option for 2.4 when signing in. Is there anything I can do?
all routers have 5g and 2.4 g try 8nstalling it a little farther from your router ? also if you check with your provider you could ask to have both signal show on your phone like bell 5g and bell 2.4 or whatever company you use for internet . worth the try .

I use few different cameras for my own place and by far the TP LINK cams are my favorite . hope this helps.
It is set up but I am not getting a live feed the feed just keeps loading

They are originally made.foe inside . I'm not sure if water proof .unless you can place them under roof or in a lamp fixtures so it's protected from rain .but again I don't think they are water proof .hope this helps

the best way to do it to make sire follow all the steps properly . you might have put the wrong password for WiFi ( it happens a lot lol .its case sensitive ) also make sire to reset the camera again and start process again . hope this helps .

few suggestions.
one I always reset the camera .make sure to reset it . make sure the cameras has access to your phone. check the app permission for the camera to allow access. make sure WiFi password password is correct . very case sensitive . one last one some times the camera is too far from WiFi sourse or too close ...try setting it up in a different room or upstairs or downstairs if possible . hope this helps

Hello I tried setting up my camera with Ease Life, all it kept saying was waiting for connection. I tried pressing the reset button, but it still said the same thing and I couldn’t connect the device. I also move it from one side of the room and still nothing. What can I do?
@@franzellabedell1029 push the rest until you hear the camera reset or the beep...its just a tinybspot you need to push to reset sometimes its tricky ...you can hear the small CLICK SOUND when dome correctly . hope this helps .

@@gooddealguy2000 yes I watched the full video. Each time I did it I reset, like I unscrewed the bulb put it back in, waited for it to stop moving then I reset , I even had my Wi-Fi ready with the password already keyed in . I didn’t get it wrong.

it can operate only with the app that is installed on the camera .
just a quick question what APP are you using ?is that the one that is on the manual ? did you scan the QR CODE? the reason I asked I have bought few of these cameras and not all of them use the same app but the cameras are excaly the same lol hope this helps . if not maybe something else wrong .please contact where you purchase them from maybe? good luck

Very strange 🤷 what I have notice helping some of my customers is sometimes people don't put the correct email or password or wifi password ....very case sensitive. Unfortunately I really can't help you since I cant see what is going on ...have you tried contacting the seller ? Could be a faulty one maybe 🤔

Okay so everything else is working right.. but I don’t hear a voice at all or the beep while it scans the QR code.. but it keeps saying “something went wrong” idk what I’m doing wrong, the passwords are all correct!

make sure to check APP permission are ON . also volume on the phone is up ( I know some people forget lol ) also try to RESET the camera before installing anything. and one last suggestions if you have VPN make sure turn it off maybe ? hope this helps . other wise might be manufacturer issues and need to return it or replace it ....good luck.
