So with this mod, you can literally go from having a stock screen that offers pretty much nothing to having satnav, android car play (whatever its called) without having to ever plug in your phone?

I just install this on my BMW F20,good tutorial. The beauty was that first time I didn’t connected properly those cables , freaked out and opened everything again..then all was great, easy :) now the car feels so high tech…got any video with installation of the rear camera?

Hi mate, I have a 2018 318i with 6.5 inch screen, factory fitted reverse camera with no gps. It is an ID6 EVO version with a base model audio system. I want to upgrade to exactly the same unit that you have installed. My car does not come with an aux input port in the middle armrest compartment and only has a USB port. Can I still get this working on my car, the installation seems straight forward and I do not see any issues there. I wish someone can answer my query and I can go ahead with the purchase

I thought the 10.25 can only fit the f30 whilst the 8.8 fits the f22?

I have brought this this android screen used. When I'm using the gps I put it and aux and the gps works fine but no sound from the radio. How can I get both of them to work at the same time? Thanks
Once I’ve plugged everything in and check to see if it’s all working. I get a “No signal” message on the idrive side of things.. any idea why this might be? I have double checked the connections but nothing has helped

Got a retro fitted nbt hu pro 2016 lci f20. Will this still fit. The nbt hu is twice the width as the entry entrynav i replaced.

Thanks for the kind instruction! Is it require additional aux connection for the sound output at car speakers? or just enough with the connections of the instruction? (except usage of the bluetooth connection)
You dont need aux cable connected either for bluetooth. :)

Anyone know how to get this unit to boot faster? Managed to install an app called auto start manager so zlink launches by itself but boot up feels like forever. I do mean booting up from engine start so unit was off.

I drive doesn’t do anything with this screen, plus when you press the mode button the screen just goes black along with some other buttons on iDrive, maps is a little laggy and audio isn’t as good. Great screen tho just software needs tweaks

Hi my friend you forgot to take of fibre cable out from original cable to put in replacement... I bought from you and I installed with your instructions and after that streering wheel cluster button didn’t work so I uninstalled and took off the fibre cable and put it in right place now working everything fine

I've just installed this display into my F22 bmw 2 series and I've lost the BMW audio (warning chimes, active sound in sport mode - all the sounds the car makes basically)
Can you help me work out what is wrong?
The music is working fine, Bluetooth and android auto is playing through the car speakers but I've got no BMW noises at all ?

Does the audio come through the car speakers with the set up shown in this video. Or do you have to add in an extra cable wired from this to the aux input in the centre arm rest. I've watched some videos on the MMI boxes, and they seem like a lot more work but also have to add the additional aux wire.

Just depends if your old head unit is CIC or NBT. CIC needs the aux cable, NBT doesn't

Good video but use a plastic tool to remove all the components, and dry test it first before screwing back everything is my advice.
