"Will I be able to play online after the marketplace shutdown?"
Yes, only the marketplace content will shut down. Not the online services.
"Will I be able to play my owned games?"
Yes, as long as you own them BEFORE the shut down, you can play them.
"Will I be able to download some of my games that I deleted?"
Yes, you will be able to download games and other content via your Download History on your Xbox 360.
"Will I be able to purchase Avatar Items after the store shuts down?"
No, the Avatar Store is included in the marketplace shutdown.

Here is a theory, that you would not connect to xbox live after 2025 on xbox 360, because you cannot set data in settings after that time

nah, put all those games on a Jtag or RGH HDD and you're good to go. Physical copy will die in time anyway.
Except for DLC, because there will be a lot of it lost, and are pretty much impossible to get physically now.

Microsoft really needs a sale so we can buy the games, dlc, gamerpics, themes and avatar items before they shut the marketplace down
There should be a petition for this
There needs to be more than a sale. They need to get certain games listed again (there are literally backwards compatible games you can’t ever play because they never had a retail release and aren’t on the store anymore like SoulCalibur 2 HD Online)
Well the more likely scenario is that people should work together to buy as much as you can from this marketplace before it gets shutdown, even if they're at full price.
@SuperFlashDriver games like Black Ops II are still €50 with DLC at €14.49, nobody is going to buy several games listed at that price

And I'm not just talking about black ops II, but also the other hidden gem games that never got the spotlight that people should consider looking into. And thankfully, we do have three-two months left until it shuts down.

If your 360 is giving you errors when your trying to add payment options just buy a microsoft gift card and use your microsoft balance
I got a $10 gift card on my account and sure enough, the money shows up on 360. HOWEVER, I can’t complete a single digital purchase on my 360 or the Xbox Marketplace/Avatar Store. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong :/

@@RodeoKemono if you aren't physically on the same country you're trying to buy on you might have to set up a VPN. Some items will give you these types of problems like Call of Duty Classic.

The 360 version of GTA San Andreas is actually horrible, and a buggy mess, if you want to play it on 360 get the Original Xbox version.

Castle Crashers and Spelunky have both been delisted on the Xbox 360. Getting their DLC is completely pointless IF you don't already own either game.

I got dark souls 1 as a free Xbox games with gold way back in the day. I can still download it and play it on the series s. I just played it for the first time last month. Crazy how just getting free games over the years have paid off over time
The indie game 360 market really helped me growing up considering I didn't have a lot of money, I'm feeling nostalgic with what little I had back then and how I made due with it

It’s more likely licensing is running out on a lot of old games and Microsoft doesn’t want to deal with renewals. It’s also why physical 360 copies are going up in price. Because of low run, rare games out there only on 360 or ps3

Doing Gods work, with the amount of content available on the store a little breakdown like this highlighting some of the best stuff is really handy.
Easiest free gamepics and themes to find are those from original xbox games.

Arkham City does have a remaster in the Return to Arkham collection with both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City on current gen and goes for really cheap on sale (i think around $6? if i remember right) but the game isn't going anywhere lmao. Its worth buying the original on 360 if you prefer the graphics of the original

What this video did for me was really serve as a reminder of how many crazy and goofy games there were on the 360. I feel like that's one of the things that console gaming in gerenal has lost touch with. Probably a good 85% of the games/demos you mentioned I've never even heard of before, and thats what makes this era of console's special.

Pinball fx2 is also a free game but you have to buy most of the tables
At this rate with the halo games being shutdown and the market place closing they are just getting closer and closer to permanently pulling the plug on everything, I’m really curious what games still even have active players online anymore, been a few years since I’ve played but man. Talk about a huge chunk of my childhood gaming and meeting people online, gonna really miss this era now that it’s all a distant memory and will soon to be gone.
If you believe Microsoft when they say you will be able to download games you already own after the marketplace closure, you're beyond hopeless.

The ufc undisputed 3 demo was really awesome too, you can fight in pride arena and the controls felt smoother in the demo than the actual game

You can buy those AFTER the shutdown btw, except for black ops 3 last gen. If a game is backwards compatible with xbox one/series x then the dlc's will still be available to purchase. Waw and bo1&2 are thankfully on the backwards compatible list
Love YTs like you. It’s because of people like you that brought me back to these consoles and reminded me. Ps3 and Xbox 360 are so important to me. I play ps3 everyday now over ps5 I got sick of lack of content and games on the newer gen. Says a lot when there is only a handful of exclusives on ps5 after 4 years. 600 plus games in that time released which seems much but nah it isn’t look how many ps2 and ps3 had at that point absolutely staggering. I’ll let the kids and kids below the ages of 20 have these consoles as it’s All they know. I’ll always advocate these consoles.

Buddy, my siblings and I have been playing old games since we were born starting with the Namco Museum and Intellivision Game Collection for the PS1. And since then, while I was annoyed at playing the same Namco game over and over again with my mom on the Gamecube, I still play old games here and there, considering that emulation has made it much easier to access games that would have required spending hard earned money/cash just to get a copy of it. 7th Generation was the very last generation that I ever bothered to play video games, as I transitioned to go fully PC/Mac after 2010/2011, hence why the Xbox 360 was the last console that I bothered to play on. So yeah, I can totally see where you're coming from, but the consoles themselves aren't going to last long, which is why I don't power them up often is because, well, it's degrade and cause the hardware to wear out quicker than if you kept it in a box it was made for and only use it when you wish to play it and that's it.

CoD Ghosts and AW you can play 360 version on Xbox One by backwards compatibility with 360 users. But now only if you find disk version

all CZcams apps for consoles are the exact the same so older consoles will just keep working until YT does an update that older consoles just can't handle even the Wii U CZcams app still functions just fine

San Andreas is BC on Series and the XLA compilation disc is backwards compatible besides UNO.

There's also the OG Xbox games available on the marketplace; there's several OG Xbox games that aren't playable on Xbone/Series but can still be purchased on the 360 marketplace.
On the US store, these are the ones I've found:
1. BlowOut
2. Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
3. Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows
4. Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (bloody good this one)
5. Raze's Hell
6. Sega Soccer Slam
7. The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
8. Zapper: One Wicked Cricket!
Plus, the 360 had a lot of great shmups like Caladrius, which aren't backwards compatible on Xbone/Series! Get em while you can!

The games on the store that came out on disk will forever be available to buy and play but I highly recommend you decide on what games you want to play again and buy them brand new because a used disk always has issues playing because of the nature of a disk.

RTA is full of glitches because the devs didn’t port the games properly to unreal 4, causing models to be poorly rendered, ambience completely removed and textures/collision being non existent, which is why the original unreal 3 versions are superior, although the RTA asylums does have rain but it’s because they used a beta version for the unreal 4 port

What’s even crazier is the people that used to have Xbox 360 backed in probably don’t even have a gaming system today because they’re too busy with their lives whether they are married have kids or they’re probably dead or something or just living life gamer free. The 360 will always be nostalgic to me even though I was 14 then(now almost 33 today). wherever my 360 is it didn’t die in vain. I will always treasure to memories. Thanks for the video man. Cloudberry kingdom on the 360 arcade. It has been delisted on other stores so if you don't own it yet it will be gone forever once the 360 store shuts down.
Samurai Warriors 2 Xtreme Legends DLC is digital only on the 360 and the only way to play that expansion content in hd. Will also be gone forever after shutdown.

Kinect sports was one of the best games for the kinect on the 360 n certain other ones but long live those memories of older gens that r getting wiped but people that still have there older consoles all I can say is wow thats amazing im lost for words, holding on to something so dearly it brings back so many memories just sad these games r never coming to newer gens

If you payed attention in that part of the video, you could know the case here is all the games I cited, and also the focus of that segment of the video, are backward compatible, but they have one or more DLCs can be putchased only using the Xbox 360 Marketplace, like Sonic Generation's Casino Night Pinball, por example.
In the case of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, there's a store inside the game, and this store calls the X360's Marketplace menu, and there's a costume pack for Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu and Oni can be purchased only in that store. That item is listed at the current Xbox Store (Arcade Challengers Pack), but unavailable por purchase from there, and purchasable, again, only by using the in-game store. If the in-game store calls the Xbox 360's Marketplace to show the contents, what will happen with this DLC after the Marketplace's shut down?

This segment was based over my thread on X, and the list of games in my comment was the other games who was not included in the video (in the case of SSF4: Arcade Edition, the "Arcade Challengers Pack" is accesdible only by using the in-game store, who calls the DLC from the Marketplace).
When I get my xbox 360 for my bday imma use half of my money to get as much as I can on the 360 before this thing shuts down
The one thing I can think of that you can’t get anymore is the Sonic CD 2011 port. Sega being Sega they removed other releases of classic sonic games that were going to be in the upcoming Sonic origins collection, & while I really wanted to like origins it was unfinished & rushed as hell because of Sega rushing out everything
I kinda skim-watched through the video (amazing vid btw) and I don't think I saw any point where he mentioned the Plants vs. Zombies marketplace items. In case you didn't know, there's an Xbox 360 version of PvZ that has a surprising amount of marketplace content on there, and I would totally recommend checking it out.

I never owned a 360, I had a ps3 during this era but man it feels weird seeing this. I did play the 360 at my cousins a lot I remember we’d play split screen bo2 online and left 4 dead. Bro, if I create a new account on Xbox 360 itself selecting a different region I'll be able to buy on that country's Live? Because I couldn't change my region on X360 - but I can do it on SX, where I'm free to select any country to buy

Splatterhouse, Skate2, The simpsons game, Left 4 dead 1&2 All the cods all the halos and Guitar hero’s and the guitars , Family guy back to the multiverse, Futurama Xbox, Family Guy XBOX, King Kong, Hulk, The Sneak King Collection, Read dead and undead nightmare, All 3 South parks on the 360, GTA IV, AvP, aliens colonial marines, UFC 3, Band hero, That’s what I’ve gotten in the last month and the collection is growing daily before the prices Spike. Futurama is my most expensive I got it for $55 but it goes for like $85-140 atm
Avatar Kinect and Air Band seems to be delisted in the United States. Might have to make a different Microsoft account for Canada.
EDIT: Made a Canadian alt account and Avatar Kinect and Air Band are both delisted. Also here's some advice, try using the left and right bumpers to type faster.

@@CobatineYT In a way, yes. The base game was delisted, but you can still use the free DLC to play the game. The free DLC is just the game itself, you just have to open the Xbox Guide menu and play it from there in your Downloads & Recent History.
There are some games and DLC that are backwards compatible, but can't purchase digitally on the current store. So much for preservation.
The preservation IS very por only 27% is BC and 6% of the OG Xbox. The 360 have 49% of BC with the original Xbox.

My xbox 360 is broken it got rrod then just stopped working it just makes the boot up "doo doo doo' sound lol but i really like thi video so you can have a bunch of cool stuff and flex i wish they had these cool themes on one and x/s i would love to have a skittles theme nice video!
