Again, Jahan and Yasmine inspire me to be better. They have changed by perspective on life in many ways and the way that they speak, even after all the success, is so humbling. I have tattoos and they each have a story but the one I get criticized for is the one of their new logo and a line from one of their songs, my family said it's a phase and that in 10 years I won't remember Krewella, but how Jahan spoke about her tattoos and phases is how I feel about my own. Regardless of how my life will evolve I still lived in this moment in time when I considered the girls my heroes. Speaking to them personally after my uncle passed away two days before we were supposed to see them in concert helped me overcome the loss. Jahan spoke to me and said that it'll be alright and she took a moment to just hug me while everyone else was trying to get her attention, in that moment I knew that they are role models and that fame isn't their priority, but family is. The industry or genre of music that they are associated with comes with a lot of bad wraps but they manage to still have a voice and fight for the good in people and acceptance of everyone. This podcast was everything that I needed to hear, especially being in the military as a sailor stationed overseas on sea duty, out to sea for months on end, constantly thinking about success and where I'll be in the years to come. I wouldn't be in the Navy if it weren't for Krewella and that sounds silly but they have influenced me to "Get Wet or Die Trying," and I am thankful for that and I appreciate what they do for the Krew.
I feel like when got to see a side of Jahan and Yasmine we don't see so much and how deep they got. I love it!!!

I absolutely never comment on videos but I've watched probably hundreds of Krewella interviews and this was by far the best one I've seen! You had really amazing questions for them and stayed focus on important, deep topics rather than focusing on asking about the drama in the media and kind of making it more of a negative situation for them. You could tell there was great chemistry between the 3 of you and I think that really helped them open up! Amazing job and I can't wait to read your book! :)

The girls don't know it, but they're bigger than they can imagine, they helped me a lot through difficult times, helped me see things through different eyes, they're a huge support and inspiration in my life and for that I'm forever grateful. Even though I'm just a stranger to them and never met'em in person I feel like I owe them and that we are close.

I didn't make it to there concert in Chicago.. but this interview with the girls was awesome.. they are so smart and beautiful and have amazing hearts of gold. Lewis, thank you so much for this interview. I have been a LONG time fan of Krewella and what they stand for, and your personality and content always seems to resonate a lot with me (the first video I saw of yours was your first interview with Tony Robbins). This video just brings it all together for me, ESPECIALLY when you mentioned at the beginning that you used to put Alive (acoustic) on repeat when working on your book. I TOO would listen to that specific acoustic version over and over and over again when trying to stay motivated and focus on my goals. The raw emotion in that acoustic video is just absolutely amazing.
