Firewire GoFish Paint Job After 1 Year

- A few people asked me to do a short video on how my GoFish paint job was holding up. I think it is doing really well. Minor scratches but those are scratches that would have actually been made whether it was painted or not. I realized that sliding my board in and out of the car is really bad, I put a nice scratch on my SciFi 2.0 recently as well so definitely bad for the glass in general.

Nice board. I just bought a used glazer after watching your review of it many times. Got one for cheap but I need to fix a fin and some holes so thinking to have it painted after. will have to revisit your painting video.
I see in some videos you go for airs. I really liked your speed generation pumping video because it did help me to learn and now I can finally generate speed on any board even a longboard like that. Any chance you would teach us how to go to air? I get all the speed I need now but I either go up without a board or a board just goes other direction. the main thing for me would be to understand what to do so the board goes up from a lip. what should my legs do and how should I position myself over a board. They say it's like ollie on a skateboard but I was never a skateboarder. I looked at many videos and it's just not hitting a spot maybe your explanation would make sense to me again. thanks
That GoFish for you should be renamed GoBird because it just wants to fly out of the water!
haha. i know one would not know from this video, but, the best airs I have ever pulled was on this board. In one session, 3 airs landed on the GoFish. straight airs in the pocket seem to go straighter so I can land them and continue on with a maneuver. I'll have to get it on video some day. As my friend always says, it didn't happen unless you have a witness or it's on film. LOL
Due for another update! How is the paint job two years in?
LOL. paint is holding up good but I ended up buckling the board on a recent trip to Nicaragua. The board was still ridable and strong, but there was a crease. The LFT construction of the GoFish was super durable. I ended up giving the board to a local chap. Hope he gets to ride it.
