I guess adaptability is an essential for you to have in codm, especially in solo ranked if you want to win the game.
• observing teammate behaviour
• knowing the weapons that your teammates are using (same goes with enemies)
• knowing how to adjust
i got everything on the list except the most important thing that makes all the thing i know totally useless

When i get trapped in cover i would either throw a smoke grenade on one side and slide out the other and either kill them or retreat for now, or throw a flashbang and kill them. I've upgraded the smoke tactic using a perk where you have an extra tactical equipment(forgot the name), and throw smoke on both sides. But sometimes i need to use a smoke grenade for something else so it doesn't always happen

2:04 easier solution to enemies that are low in health but ran away is to shoot a thumper just right beside their last position most of the time they're waiting for you with a katana so yeah they die instantly xD

I always start on their side. If I'm on the right side, I'll go left so I'll be ready to meet them and vice versa. As a sniper, if I meet them at distance, I'm often to pick off several before going to my main spot.

if enemy is so near me,peek him
if she is in mid range try to go where she will go
if she is far away,release him

I get legendary every season with that I do all of this but knowing what playstyles might be used in certain maps is also crusal also knowing how to change playstyles to counter your opponent helps. Team mates are very important to if you enable perspective team mate pay attention to when they are getting shot to further know your enemies position just a quick tip
The easiest means to win against them psychologically is to just outsmart them. most players are not the average player anymore because of meta, changes in map, nerfs of perks, etc. they want a challenge and at the same time want u to be predictable. based off this alone, it's easy to manipulate. That's how I win most of my gunfights but skill still plays a role but they're sneaky

My biggest obstacle in at least reaching grand master in rankedmp is the sponges who wander around and take forever to notice they are getting hit A LOT just to one shot by shooting the ground or the building next to me as if my hitbox is bigger than the map.

Glad iam good with playing brain games against enemies...and a biggest problem when playing solo ranked is flipping spawns unnecessarily..no one plays anchor role so I have to do that every damn time...
