So as a sound engineer and as a fan of yours recommending you to please invest in good sound gears (microphones) like " Rode wireless go 2 ". Fir majja aaynga aaplog ko sunne mein...😁

Once I tried Schnitzel in Salzburg, it was good but all other Austrian/German or even I’d say European food stuff is hard to accept for an Indian tounge..

@@SidMewara that’s great.. I am use to have tonnes of spices so German food is still unattractive for me.. whenever I had, it turned out to be disappointed though it’s bcz of me not the food itself.. I am aware of the fact that food has evolved according to the availability of local ingredients.. that’s true for every cuisine in this world..
I am quite experienced cook and have experience of running a restaurant in India for a short period. I’m flawlessly surviving in Germany just bcz of my ability to cook Indian food.. from Biryani to chhole 😋

It’s Austrian the Wiener schnitzel. Usually Germans just eat weird combinations of Schnitzel with sauce that makes the breadcrumbs soggy and taste really weird. So eat a schnitzel in original ways (Like Austrian 😉) from pork, calf or Turkey or chicken.
Listen in my defense we were shooting food and drinks for 5 days all day.... Its possible to get foggy about things like the capital of germany.... Okay maybe not... Maybe because the football team from Munich is much better.. 😋
Hehe, I remember going to this place for breakfast pre-COVID. Didn’t like it and wouldn’t go back. surprised you guys did an episode on this place. I’ve had some nice German food in London and few other places. This place was just sad

I bought a kg of Hungarian sausages & 1/2 kg Vienna Werstel from a Foodland in Bangkok before returning. It cost me approx 1000 Rs or so. Can't find such good quality in Bombay, and even it were available it would have cost me nothing less than Rs 2,500.
How did you manage to get it past the customs

The Bier Library? Nope. Biergarten, Toit and Communiti have way better beer and food by miles. But agreed that restaurant selection in Bangalore was not satisfactory. Loved the Goa and Mumbai series so much better.

Producer bashing looked a little contrived. Trying a little too hard for the "tony bourdain" touch.
You might want to watch from season 1, season 2 and then season 3 to understad the genesis of why the producer is always in the firing seat.
As for the Bourdin bit, we will take that as a compliment, even if you were being snarky. Man was a legend and it obviously bleeds into anything related with an opinionated show around food. Thanks for that.

Keep watching the season. We shoot between 12 to 20 episodes in a season in a city. There are good meals, bad meals and great meals all within that spread.

I feel like your producer fucked you over by taking you to the worst places, that hardly any of us living in Bangalore have heard off.
Maybe there was difficulty getting permission from the bigger places to allow you'll to film, I can't be sure.

We wanted the (Wurst)sausages and the (Leberkase)Bavarian Meatloaf. Cafe Max is a german restaraunt and the food we got served was not very good. The Pork that was sent was aweful.
OBviously we choose what we want to eat, how else does one order food?

All depends on the situation, if its meats, Indian and specifically South India related, then Shanky takes the lead. Sid covers everything else.
