First what do you call off shore accounts? Because the government has has this little thing called Bank Secrecy Laws. What that means is every bank in the US who does banking with banks outside the country can still be touched by the US government. That's the simplest way to put it. The Governmet uses what is called an Egmont request and there are over 250 countries that participate in this. To go off shore you would have to physically carry your money to a country like Afghanistan that does not participate. I'm sure what Diddy has done is put money in his kids name in the form of trust. Therefore that money can be protected. By if the Givernment charge him with RICO then everything is in play. It will be up to the Government to prove what money is good money from legit businesses vs money earned from the crimes committed.
