    I enjoy seeing Penny doing well and appearing to be so well-adjusted. Prior to the injuries, he was a surefire Hall of Famer and very likely would have won 1 or more nba titles. I am happy for him that he did not become a casualty of 'what might have been.'

    If only he had not gotten injured, he was headed for the Hall of Fame. He was special and I was a fan, It truly broke my heart to see his career end as it did.

    say what you want, Penny is the biggest "what if" in nba history - he stays healthy, he's up next to be placed in the top 10-15 all-time, argue with your mirror
    but wishing my guy the most success at memphis & the rest of his coaching career, couldn't think of a better person for this opportunity

    Loved this man since I was in middle school when he was a superstar with the Magic. His humble nature makes you love him all the more.😍❤️ I’m happy to see him as a successful coach. I’m sure he’s going to take Memphis to an NCAA championship in the near future. And can we talk about how this man hasn’t aged past 1995?
