Wale loves RM! He’s talked about him since, saying he thinks RM could be one of the greatest producers and that he’s good friends with him.
It’s impressive how the message is still so relevant to this day, and all over the world
You guys mentioned how you thought Wale’s part would be much shorter but it turned out to be quite long, well RM is actually quite known for whoever he is collabing with to have much more of a part in the song than normal features for other artists. RM also likes to put “with (insert name)” instead of “feat. (insert name)” kind of like how this song is “RM, Wale” instead of “RM feat. Wale”. I think he does this because RM is very passionate about who works with and wants the song to be more than just a ‘featuring’. BTS as a whole is also known for doing this, which is awesome!
I have noticed that BTS rarely does features how we're used to. They do songs "with" the artist. They always give them so much space. J-Hope with J-Cole gave him the spotlight totally!! It's like they want to give people they work with as much spotlight as possible. It's very generous IMO

The power BTS has is amazing. The way they're talking to ARMY and they know that millions of people will listen to their message. They always use their power for good. They're responsible for so much good change in the lives of so many people. It's literally like ARMY help us make the world a better place and people do. Maybe they can't change the entire world but they have helped so many people. I have donated personally to dozens of the causes they advertise.
Great reaction guys! My favorite line is: “I see some grass growin' in winter's eyes”. It really reminds me of Spring Day by BTS, saying that there is still hope, no suffering (winter) is forever and that spring will come.

Well this is definitely an opinion not factual. I think if you're a true music lover then you'll appreciate ALL of the members solo songs for different reasons. And you saying "Songs with meaningful lyrics." Sounds like you're trying to insinuate that the other members don't have meaningful lyrics 💀 but to each it's own I guess. I LOVE music, so I listen to EVERYTHING and when I say everything I mean it. So I personally can't choose a member with the best solo songs, because my opinion changes based on the day, mood and vibe
I love both Wale & BTS so when I saw he did this song with RM, it became one of my favorite collabs.
Wale to this day, gives RM his flowers. They both had a message and delivered.
The Korean education system is very strict and a lot of pressure is placed on the kids who leave school every day and go on to private school in the evening till late at night BTS did a song called N.O have a look at that

This was a great addition to the line up, I didn't know we would be getting reactions to solo collab songs like Change ft. Wale. There is an official MV for this song and this lyric vid is fan made just adding the text over the MV but I understand why you guys got this one to react to. Also the songs all in English. You wouldn't believe how many people reacting to it don't realize it's all English lol. Wale had some great things to say about RM during an interview, said he believes if RM came the States (to work & live) he'd become one of the biggest producer/songwriters here. This was around early 2018 when he said that and they've become even bigger since then. I loved that Wale not only shouted out "Rap Monster" "BTS" & "Army" but also called him by his real name "Namjoon" tho he had to change the pronunciation to rhyme with "man" in the verse it's normally pronounced " Nom joon" like "nom nom nom" lol. He didn't have to do all that for this song but he chose to so I have mad respect for Wale. He actually flew out to S.Korea to do the MV shoot with RM and they had good chemistry on set.
Yeah I sent them this one because at times RM’s enunciation was kind of hard to decipher upon first listen and I wanted to make sure the guys understood what was being said because it is such a powerful song!

The South Korean education system is so intense, and there is so much pressure put on kids to succeed. Pressure not just from parents, but society as a whole. Most kids are in school 10 to 15 hours a day. Currently, South Korea has the highest suicide rate amongst youth ages 10 to 18 years old in the modern world. Their early song N.O. addresses this topic. I can't imagine a young child dealing with that much pressure that they feel their only way out is suicide. It just makes me so mad. The same pressure kids around the world feel as well with cyberbullying. 😢💜

This has been one of my favorite collabs since I first heard it in late 2017. It was just after I saw BTS on the AMA’s 2017. It helped send me down the rabbit hole. LOVE this song! Great reaction.

Yes, you’re correct. The education system in S Korea is quite harsh. (BTS has several songs about this.) As a result, S Korea has the highest su***de rate in the world for ages 10 through 15.
Actually I believe it's ages 10 to 19 but yes it's really harsh. It's a lot of pressure from parents as well as Schools. The high school Exam CSAT or College Scholastic Ability Test is called the Suneung in S.Korea which determines what College you can get into and essentially your career. Exam times & test results is an especially high risk time for Su***de. When the normal school day ends students don't go home they go to a secondary evening school known as Hagwon also called a cram school and don't leave until anywhere from 10pm to 12 midnight then get up 7am to go to regular school again.

Want to also chime to highlight at how integral the korean education system is to korean society. It can affect basically your whole course of living.
Schools are super competitive, to the point that the entire country will shut itself down when the csat (the single standard test that determines whether you can make it into a good college) comes around. And as for colleges, many big businesses will not even look at applicants who don't come from certain tiered colleges (they won't even advertise job openings).
Plus, educational mishaps can become a whole societal shame.
Not to mention how bad school violence is over there. There used to be a huge thing of teacher-on-student violence in the guise of student discipline that blew up abt the time BTS debuted (they have a predebut song, school of tears, that focuses on this), but nowadays, teachers can have virtually little to no power but school bullying is still rampant (and it can get extreme too). It's to the point where society has reached another extreme reaction that anyone found to have been a bully becomes publicly condemned.
And of course, highest self-exiting rate in the world, in which school and lack of help for mental health (tho, that may be changing?) have played major roles.

army here, if you appreciate political stuff by bts, i recommend N.O., an old song way back 2013 a powerful commentary on the korean education system, or you can also listen to suga and rm's strange, a profound commentary on capitalism. thank you for appreciating bts!
They did react to N.0 MV on the channel so check that one out. Agust D "Strange ft. RM" is great song and even the D-Day album song Hageum also speaks on it and Polar Night as well. BTS songs like "Am I Wrong" "Baepsae" and even "Go Go" (it's a little harder for us international army to pick up on but thankfully Doolset lyrics helps with the context like the irony in the song. Happy bright sounds like a party anthem with trendy catch phrases but deep critical look at consumerism in society with youth that feel trapped in it) have something to say.
I write this with love and support, just in case u're interested to read.. my personal feel and opinion as someone who really enjoyed ur reactions.
I think u should change ur BTS current course and as beginners go to the great B-sides, live performances, best solos songs etc
