ShiftUp likes to try pushing new meta gimmicks and this time around they want true damage. The full burst extension friendly buffs are definitely welcome one but it sucks that her burst buff is only 10s. We probably won't be seeing true damage bursts that last for 15s any time soon. Her being a 40s makes me wonder if they plan to revive the double burst 2 teams, since they plan to make older units revelant again with the treasures.
They dont, they just release random kits for those characters and they completely dont give a fk or a second thought about it. Game is so heavily unbalanced right now its a joke. Cant play without Crown now anyway. Even if she would have 20s CD still its not enough to phase Crow out of team.
@@Alen725 Of course she's not phasing Crow out, she's the best B2 in the game. If you don't have crow it's the school girls, if you don't have them it's the bunnies. Every role has a best in slot in every gacha game. If that's unbalanced, then it's been like that since the start and it'll never change
@@gold12161 It is EXTREMELY unbalanced for anything besides solo raid multiple teams, period. Even then she will end up in a dump, not even working as a substitute to bunnies or school girls. Stop coping, just because something can be best in slot doesnt mean I cant do anything with 90% of roster in the game

But it's a pointless assertion. Like no shit. Even easy games like Genshin have plenty of units that don't get used unless you're trying to make a point. It's impossible for every unit to be relevant with this many units in the game. And even then, there’s way more than 10% of the roster that gets used. There are plenty of pvp only units, some units only get used in manufacturer tower, not to mention the 25 slots for the solo raid teams. I have 60 plus units in my sychro and I use almost all of them. I'm not coping. I don't even think Clay will get used right away. But the same could be said for Tove when she came out.

In a world where we have really good attacker units in the game already, I'd be interested to see if Bay is even worth slotting in that 5th/flex spot over an actual damage dealer. My prediction is that she'll be fine for team 4 or 5 in solo raid.
Whole kit would be saved if dealing true damage on burst was applied to whole team. She'd instantly be an extremely powerful and meta character, and even the low numbers would be fine/justified. For now she's just wishlist material.
Does polly have any synergize to bay/clay? Because you know... She out of people is the one that get sandwiched by them in the previous wallpaper event 😂
easy skip. support for no one except laplace and frima, both requiring treasures. If she grants true dmg to everyone during burst than it maybe a different story. Being a SMG 40s B2 hurts big time.
What do you think about a doro/biscuit/sanis/clay/priv team? Biscuit offers massive dmg boosts to doro/clay/sanis during her burst and there are lots of units making use of the electric buffs sanis throws around.
Hard to say without testing, but I think Clay's damage buff would need to be significantly stronger than what Poli can provide for this comp. Unless there is a particularly nasty debuff that needs blocking or if true damage becomes more relevant later on, Clay might be benched for a while Speaking of team Doro, Elegg is also eyeing the flex spot and she's an electric supporter that would benefit from Biscuit and S Anis too🤔
Seems like a meh kit. If schoolgirls and bunnies can be a duo I don't see why cheerleaders can't especially when they have to work together for contest and do routines. A massive disservice to her unless they plan on true damage future units and someone to benefit her otherwise in lore she must hate Bay to justify this kit.
