Beginner to intermediate Aerial Silks Tutorial drop - straightforward body positioning and easy to follow steps and less risky locked in wrap for the drop make this safe to learn as one of your first drops but it takes strength to cross the silks and pike over so keep practicing and working on your conditioning if you're struggling there. Even at an advanced level this is still a fun move and easily incorporates into choreography

Does it hurt and do you need practice?
It doesn’t hurt as long as you wear pants! Depending on your strength level you may need a little or a lot of practice. But don’t give up you’ll get it!
