Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane. Simplicity7389 was my wedding dress/ bridesmaid's dresses. S 5237 The Bikini Sizzler was made for a school dance in a silky 60s-type print.

Love this! Memories! Made about half of these .love your gunne sac dress more memories. I made two of them when they first came out. They had a matching girls pattern so my daughter's wanted them . I had to make them in different fabrics because what teenager wants to dress like her baby sister? I remember the gathering and sewing the slippery ribbons. But it was worth every bit! They got to the point that they didn't care if the other was wearing it the same time. Thanks!
