Installing an inboard motor in a small boat update 7 of 13

  • In update 6 I ran the engine and operated the propeller to make sure the mechanics worked. The drive-train seems to work, so it time to install all the stuff needed to put the boat in the water. Since Update 6 here is what I have completed:
    1. Installed the freshwater intake.
    2. Built the gas and battery compartment.
    3. Roughed in the engine compartment.
    4. Built the top for the engine compartment.
    5. Designed, built, and installed a rudder.
    6. Painted the stern, and shaft log hole.
    7. Installed the seat braces.
    8. Installed the one inch edging around the bulge.
    9. Designed and roughed in the gauge panel.
    10, Built the sliding aft floor.
